La Hacienda Mexican Restaurant - (Near Dade City, FL)

T N Last year we had a great lunch experience at this restaurant so we returned. The food quality and service remains consistent. - great. FOOD: 5/5 Chicken Fajita: Theres liberal amount of tender and moist pieces of chicken with the right ratios of bell peppers and onions in a sauce sizzling on a hot cast iron plate. The sauce is perfect and not salty. The chicken remains moist and tender even after the plate cools off. The pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and black beans were the sides accompanying this dish. I opted for extra black beans as a substitute for rice. All the sides were great. The guacamole and pico de gallo tasted fresh. The black beans were cooked just right (not too soft and not too firm) and not salty. Beef Fajita: similar to the chicken fajita, theres liberal amount of tender pieces of beef with the right ratios of bell peppers and onions in a sauce sizzling on a hot cast iron plate. The sauce is perfect and not salty. Pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream, and black beans, and rice were the sides accompanying this dish. The rice was cooked and seasoned just right and very tasty. Camarones a la diabla: 6 large prawns cooked in a hot pepper sauce served with rice. We opted for refried beans with this dish. The prawns were cooked just right (not chewy) and the sauce was smoky and very flavorful and had just a medium level of pepper heat. This dish was also great tasting. Tortillas: all 3 dishes we ordered came with hot tortillas rolled up in paper and foil to keep them warm and moist. We had both corn and flour tortillas and they were great. Last year we watched a member of the restaurant making fresh tortillas at a corner of the restaurant. We didnt see the tortilla production this time but the tortillas texture and taste is great this time too. Chips and salsa: The chips were very good. The salsa was not spicy, but tasted fresh. The spicy salsa roja we ordered had a peppery and smoky flavor, tasted great with the chips Coffee Flan: The coffee Flan texture was perfectly smooth and silky. The coffee flavor ratio was perfect and the sweetness was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like flans of other places. SERVICE: 5/5 Fast, friendly, and very helpful service from the waitress. AMBIANCE: 5/5 This restaurant is located in a shopping plaza, but its interior layout is nice, clean, spacious and seating is very comfortable. Were looking forward to returning next time were in the area.

David King I have been in Starke for a couple of weeks visiting family. I needed to find a place to have a little me time. I found Beef O’Bradys and couldn’t be more pleased. The food and the staff are outstanding and the atmosphere is great. They have treated me as if I have been here forever and made me feel very welcome. If you are looking for a place with great food and great people then look no further. I want to especially say thank you to Kelsea for the hospitality and the Regional Manager Bill for their warm hospitality.

C Morris Everything came out piping hot! Wings are always excellent. Our server Kinsley (hopefully I spelled that right) was very attentive. If you’re undecided on where to eat, the Ale House will not let you down.

June Frederiksen June with Offline - We had the French onion soup and Chilli to start. Both very good. Chilli very spicy so have to like spicy things. Got the German beer which was huge and very economical and very good. Lots of choices. Shared a bratwurst and Philly cheesesteak sandwich to try both. Both were great. Love the German mustard. Each come with one side to choose from. Big portions for the sides. Great atmosphere. Adorable Belgian chocolate shop attached which is delicious.

Angela Estrada The service was good. Our server from Guatemala was especially friendly and did a good job. The food came out quickly. The portions were generous and prices fair. We ordered a decent variety of entrees. Quesadilla was stuffed full of chicken and came with a generous portion of rice and beans. Chicken fajitas were flavorful and had plenty of food, two of us could have shared one serving. We are kind of picky with Mexican food, being originally from South Texas where we got fresh tortillas at every restaurant. This place wasnt quite what we miss from the Texas restaurants, but the food was pretty good and we would return. The restaurant was clean and we got seated right away. The only negative part was that the child in the booth behind us kept kicking the wall and made it very annoying and uncomfortable for our kids to eat their dinner. Otherwise, we like the place and will likely try another location in the area.

bianca z you can definitely tell that this place is not a tourist trap. The food was absolutely amazing. The flavor in the food was impeccable. There was definitely like Caribbean twist made on the food, but it was still very key oriented. There was a lot of of things that are unique to the keys that were oriented throughout the drinks and the sauces. I definitely didn’t get to try certain dishes that I absolutely would adore to try and I just know that it would be good. So in short terms, I will be going again. We had an amazing server. I don’t remember her name exactly but she was amazing. The view is also very, very nice. if you’re going to the keys and you want to have a nice meal with your family and actually enjoy it you definitely have to come here. Absolutely loved the restaurant 10/10 .
