5 /5 Shanile Shakoor: Want to experience a bit of Paris without leaving North Florida, well…here you go. Le Petit is a very cute and charming restaurant. Beautiful decorated and super cozy. They have many seating arrangements. Hit the bar, grab a table or choose bench seating adorned with an abundance of pillows. They have an outside courtyard if you like the patio setting. The pastries are the best! So good that I forgot to take a pic; it went so fast lol. Many pastries to choose from. The menu has a variety of different things and would soot any diet. They have a standard menu as well as some seasonal options. I love soups that are specific to the season. Great place to get away for tea and bit of Paris. Noise level is good. You can have a conversation clearly. Great atmosphere, service and food.

2 /5 LM G: UPDATE: The owner reached out to ask me to update my review. To rethink what Im saying because they are a small business. Im not - It really bothers me that the small business owner thinks I should rethink what I felt about their business. Im spending money that I work for - I chose to go to their restaurant and expected good service and food. I didnt get that - it was sporadic and I spent over $100 in one day there. While breakfast was okay the fact that the evening didnt go well was very disappointing and to me it should have been as good or better than the morning. Im putting this out there so that if theres someone who is trying to decide on where to go eat - take this into consideration. You are spending your money and should know what you are getting into. Its a shame that the owner felt WE owed THEM a better review. ....and they expected, and literally asked me to rethink my review. _____________________________________ This was a cute French cafe. We went twice on Friday. Breakfast - they did well. Hubby couldnt eat or drink due to medical appointments. Pistachio latte was awesome. I also had a mango pastry that was good. Ordered a to go sandwich because hubbys medical was all day. I ate the sandwich at the hospital- goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes and arugula on a baguette with balsamic. It was good even a few hours after I got it - kept it in my backpack. Hubby wanted soup for dinner - we decided to try this cafe after another let down at a different restaurant. I ordered French onion. He ordered tomato bisque. We both ordered large pistachio lattes. We also ordered two slices of pistachio cheesecake that they said was homemade - to go. I saw the girl making the lattes in small cups and told her they were supposed to be large. She poured them into large cups and just added more cream - basically diluted them. When I looked at the receipt I noticed we didnt get the happy hour bogo on the drinks or anything else. We waited over 45 minutes for the soup - asked about it at half hour and still waited 15 - they forgot about us. The kid that brought it out didnt bring me a soup spoon. My French onion didnt have cheese on the soup but dried up cheese on the bread - like it was old. My soup was barely lukewarm. Hubbys tomato bisque was hot. His tomato bisque was really good. We told one of the girls that the soup was cold - she told the kitchen - they brought me a baguette with melted cheese. I told the kid that it was the soup that was cold and he went back into the kitchen and brought out a bowl of soup with no cheese on it. We just decided to leave. We had the pistachio cheesecake later in evening - it was awful. Tasted like a refrigerator- had to have sat in cold uncovered with other food. Crust was too thick. Too hard. So disappointed that we spent $18 on two slices that were not good. Could have had frozen from Publix cheaper. Im trying to be fair on rating - morning crew was great. Crew after 4 leaves a lot to be desired- no clear management or organization. Errors on orders. Forgetting key items - soup with no spoon. Etc. We both agree if we went for dinner and experienced that we would not have gone back. Breakfast and morning crew were good. Food - depends on what you order.

4 /5 swarnendu sen: I recently visited Le Petit Paris Cafe on Jacksonville’s Southside, and I have to say, stepping through the door felt like being transported straight to a charming Parisian bistro. The decor is absolutely stunning and authentically captures that quintessential French cafe atmosphere I was hoping for. From the vintage posters adorning the walls to the classic bistro chairs and warm lighting, every detail contributes to an genuinely immersive Parisian experience. The ambiance alone makes this place worth visiting. However, while my eyes were delighted, my taste buds had a more mixed experience. I ordered their croissant, expecting something that would match the authentic French setting, but it was merely okay - not the buttery, flaky perfection I was hoping for. The latte, on the other hand, was quite good and well-prepared, with a nice balance and smooth texture. The atmosphere is undoubtedly Le Petit Paris Cafe’s strongest asset. If you’re looking for a beautiful spot to soak in some Parisian charm while sipping coffee, this place delivers on that promise completely. The decor truly makes you feel like you’ve escaped to France for an hour or two. While I’d love to return for the wonderful ambiance, I’d probably stick to beverages and hope they work on elevating their food offerings to match the exceptional atmosphere they’ve created.

5 /5 Curtis: No question the best croissants (and pastries) in town - made in house. We’ve been here several times and it has yet to disappoint. Their courtyard, the beautifully decorated interior and attention to detail is hard to find in restaurants in Jax. You can tell the owners put a lot of love and care into the place. This is one of those hidden gems in Jacksonville. This location is just one of their several locations in the NE Florida area. The others that I know about are located in Mandarin, one near the corner of Beach Blvd and San Pablo Rd and another at Atlantic Beach. There may be more, but these are the ones I’m aware of. They can get quite busy at peak hours so I would suggest avoiding that time and go a little bit on the earlier side if you’re able. I would love to see a new location open up on the other side of the St John’s River in Clay county. Bon Appétit!

2 /5 Sarika Roopnarine: The cashier was very courteous and pleasant. After that, I would say our experience was just not anything that great. I paid for “seasoned” eggs and they were definitely cold and the fake egg that you would get at a hotel buffet. The seasonal coco drink tasted bland and nothing like what it was described as. The most disappointing item had to be the yogurt with granola. I have never eaten an item where there was a thick layer of granola at the top and bottom that made it dry and impossible to enjoy. The dish was 1/4 yogurt and 3/4 granola. It was a beautiful setting, but if you actually enjoy hot, flavorful food, I’d go elsewhere. Good: Banana and Nutella Croissant, Bread with butter and jam (both items that could easily be replicated at your home)
