5 /5 Fred Camera: First of all I dont know what that other guy was talking about cuz the Wagyu burger was absolutely outstanding. Chef Jay (I think that was his name) and his team know how to throw it down. In addition I was greeted immediately with a warm smile from the bartender Anna who took my order and had a drink in front of me in less than 3 minutes. This was customer service at its finest. Drinks were great.... Thank you Anna. Anytime item in Gainesville I will come here and eat again hopefully on a Monday and get that prime rib special which looks out of this world! Thank you all for an amazing dinner after a 4 and 1/2 hour drive it truly was a highlight of my evening!! I will definitely be back.

3 /5 Anna Banana: I would overall recommend a visit to local provisions! The atmosphere was really cool, and around Christmas time, they had it decked out inside, which was what drew us in to grab a quick bite. We ordered a group of appetizers to share, all of which were brought before receiving plates or cutlery. After waiting for our waitress to return and notice, she brought plates and cutlery to the table sitting next to us, not glancing our way. I stopped her as she passed by another time to ask for plates and cutlery, and after an annoyed twinge on her face, she said they were out of everything but she would look (?). We ended up grabbing the hostess after about 15 more minutes, who brought us cutlery, and our waitress eventually brought small bowls. I understand needing to wash dishes and running out, but everyone around us was being given what they need to eat except for us for an extended period of time. The wings, cauliflower, and bread were very good, but I do not recommend the Brussels sprouts. I do think that they were just busy and we caught the short end of the stick, so I want to come back when it’s not a busy night.

5 /5 Jaylyn Simmons: Oh where do I begin! The food and atmosphere were top tier. However, the best part about our time at locals was our server, Jyllian! She was fantastic the entire night, ensuring we had everything we needed and was very efficient. She enhances the atmosphere at locals with her service and the way she treats her customers. Thank you Jyllian for the fantastic experience!

2 /5 Ashton Condrey: We had really high hopes for this place. The atmosphere is beautiful and modern. All the pictures of the food looked amazing, so we decided to check it out. We came for brunch and were severely disappointed. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food. The chicken on the honey butter chicken biscuit was burnt, dry, and crunchy. There was almost no trace of the honey butter. My chicken Caesar wrap had no flavor and the chicken was cut so big I had almost zero lettuce. The home fries were cooked perfectly. Service was extremely slow even though the restaurant wasnt busy. Will not be coming back.

2 /5 Conley Wood: Do NOT order the wagyu burger. First red flag: the person who took my order didnt even ask what "doneness" I preferred for my burger (medium, but that didnt matter - read on). I had to tell them as they were ending the call. After waiting 40 minutes, I was extremely disappointed to find that my $25 wagyu burger was essentially cooked until it was charcoal (see image). No pink to be found inside. 2nd disappointment: although they werent listed in the description, my burger came with lettuce, tomato, and pickles (gross). The other burgers listed on the menu describe whether or not they come with lettuce, tomato, and pickles, so I did not do my usual request of "no pickles". Do not put ingredients on a burger that arent listed! Additionally, if youre going to put lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a burger, they go on TOP of the burger so that the bottom piece of bread doesnt get soggy from water when the vegetables heat up from the burger. This also prevents the juices from the burger (which didnt exist in my piece of charcoal) from being soaked up by the bread, but instead theyre redirected to outside of the burger and onto the plate. The two stars are for the dill fries, which are always on point.
