Lisa Guffey This place is a local gem! I have nothing bad to say about this place. The food.... amazing. The best crab cake/fried shrimp/hush puppies I have ever had in my life. The cheese grits were creamy and the red beans and rice obviously freshly made. But let me talk more about this crab cake......it was rich, craby, fulllll of flavors, finely chopped onion and red peppers just added to the experience. The local feel was so friendly and warm. It felt like we were at an Uncles house. Our waitress was so sweet and personalable. We will definitely be back.

Kristi Buczek We found this spot when driving through Tallahassee and so glad we did. Next drive though we will stop by again for sure. The outside is a bit rustic and might seem a little confusing when first pulling up to the gravel parking and some open gardening. However when you get inside it is very garden/farm comfy. The decode is clean and welcoming the dining room is lovely. The staff are super friendly, efficient, and quick to respond. We ordered the crayfish bites app, kids chicken tenders, truffle & tuna sandwich and the crab cake stack. All were absolutely delightful! The chicken was cooked well and was wonderfully crispy. The crab bisque is very light and refreshing for a bisque. The tuna sandwich was quite large and very filling. The crab cakes did not come with a traditional salad but the meal was very filling and flavorful. We really enjoyed our lunch.

Vicki R. Rarely do I give a 5 star review on my fist visit to a restaurant but this is by far some of the best Cuban food I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were being welcomed into the owner’s home rather than a restaurant. The owner was actually sitting and eating while we were there and took the time to come over, introduce himself, and offer us some complimentary items to try. Every thing we ate was absolutely amazing — rich flavors, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. The restaurant is filled with beautiful Cuban memorabilia, and you can tell they pay incredible attention to detail in the décor. Every corner feels intentional and full of history, which makes the experience feel warm, personal, and authentic. Not only was the owner wonderful, but his entire family was warm, kind, and genuinely happy to have us there. It is truly a family owned and rubbed business. You don’t feel like just another customer — you feel like a guest in their home. As if the amazing food wasn’t enough they also have an outdoor area with live music. We were so impressed we talked about it all the way home. If you want authentic Cuban food with heart, hospitality, and soul, this place is a must. We will absolutely be back. This place is not a restaurant it’s an experience!

JJCV Incredible experience!! Cozy and unique atmosphere, very welcoming service, and the food was delicious. Lentil soup with paprika and parsley was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. Lamb&beef mixed kafta kebab was super savory and came with a lovely rice that had sweet onions and carrots in it. Salad dressing tasted like a homemade tahini with herbs. Mushroom kebab was super juicy and tasted like it was cooked with a white wine. The potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside and velvety soft on the inside. Everything was made with so much love ! Thank you to Nika and to the cooks for this very special experience
