Moondog Cafe Key West - (Near Key West, FL)

5 /5 Olivia Loveland: The Moondog Cafe is a must! Definitely a new spot I will be stopping at during every visit! The key lime pie was divine and so fun and the food was amazing! I can’t remember the name of the salad but it was like a southwest chicken salad and was to die for! And we did a veggie Benedict that was delicious. 12/10 recommend. The roosters walking around too made the whole atmosphere that much better!

5 /5 Jerry Hoang: We wanted to check out this restaurant mainly to try the famous key lime pie. What we found is not only did the pie live up to its reputation, but the breakfast food that we ordered was also fantastic. We had egg benadict, mahi tacos, shrimp pizza and seafood omelette. The dishes were fresh and very tasty. The service was excellent, and the outside area where we were seated was really pleasant and relaxing. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Leslie M: Love this restaurant! Ate there our last day in Key West. Will definitely be back next trip. Fast service, great food, and relaxed atmosphere. Had the watermelon cucumber juice, pesto pizza, Moondog wagu burger, and key lime pie. All of them were outstanding!!

5 /5 Akshat: Moondog Cafe in Key West was the highlight of our trip. It’s located right next to the Hemingway Home and Museum, so its location is quite conspicuous. Our server was quite jovial and polite, and assisted with all our requests. We arrived during the happy hour(4:30pm-6:30pm), so we were able to snag a few cool deals on drinks. For food, we got: Truffle Fries: Fresh fries with fresh herbs and Parmesan—this was an excellent start to the meal Blackened Mahi Mahi: It was mind blowing. The pineapple salsa and black beans along with the fish were quite flavorful and an excellent combination. The street corn rubbed with cheese was great too! Moon Burger(The Moondog): Again an excellent tasting burger which was quite filling, it comes with salad or fries Their appetizers, mains, salads, burgers and pizzas seemed quite popular. Their drinks menu is quite extensive as well, with a range of mocktails and cocktails, and beers and wines. We concluded our meal with the key lime pie, which was quite scrumptious! Street parking is available outside. In case you’re staying in Key West, I recommend walking here if you can to save yourself from parking hassles. Oh, and they’ve baked goods too! Seating is available both inside and outside. Overall, Moondog was a 10/10 experience for us, and I highly recommend visiting here.

5 /5 Fabian V: We had a very good and filling brunch at the moondog cafe. The prices were absolutely fine for what we got. The staff friendly and attentive. Just 4 stars for the atmosphere as I had the tough luck of sitting right under the AC and I got quite cold from the constant breeze. It is of course needed to cool down the whole room but didnt add to the atmosphere for me.
