New England Roadside Grill - (Near Port Charlotte, FL)

5 /5 Tony P: Came here to try it out, as it is a new restaurant. Normally im not one for seafood, but this restaurant was amazin. Ordered the fried calamari, and the garlic butter and peppers on top made it so good. Ive never had calamari like that, and wont eat it any other way. I also ordered fish and chips, and wow.. the filet was large, spread the length of the plate, and was at least an inch thick. It was so tender I had a hard time picking it up with my fork. The owners did stop by the table to chat, and they were both super friendly. Very cozy place with dynamite food. It is a bit pricey, but definitely worth every penny.

1 /5 Roger Dalpe: I’m from Massachusetts, I’m from Fall River, I know good New England seafood and this place serves garbage nothing close to genuine. I ordered different items on the menu along with my family and none of us were impressed. Your food is dry, overcooked, poorly prepared and made me sick at 2 in the morning. And when clam cakes don’t have clams, they’re not clam cakes. You need to close this place down and start from scratch and learn your trade or find something else to do. So no I don’t recommend spending your money here, go to McDonald’s. Update: my response to your response. Your waiter didn’t tell the truth. I was one of four at the table. Two of us didn’t like your food and didn’t take any home. I paid for my order regardless of how bad it is, I don’t complain and hope you give me something better. If you can’t do it right the first time I will tell the public the truth. You don’t serve quality food and this is the results. Go learn how to cook and prove your worth.

5 /5 Michael: I am a100% Azorean-American from Fall River Ma. So you can take it from me that this restaurant serves authentic Portuguese cuisine that takes me right back home. Also other unique Fall River stuff like New England clam chowder and seafood as well as chow mein just like the old China Royal. Steamer clams, baked lobster. Very reasonable . Highly recommended

5 /5 tim wright: Just a great little restaurant hidden behind Bay Shore Village. The clam chowder was really good. My server Amber was very delightful and very helpful. Small family business that is trying to gain more customers to be open more days. Everything is cooked to order so it’s very delicious. The seafood sampler looked amazing also. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.
