3 /5 Carito Ingberg: Nick’s Bar and Grill is a good spot if you’re looking for a casual date or a place to hang out with friends. I wouldn’t call it family-oriented, but it works well for meeting up, especially to watch a game — there are screens everywhere. The location is great, right by the beach with nice views, and the place feels fresh inside with air conditioning.
Food was fine — nothing extraordinary but decent. We had the mojo mahi (grilled fish) and fish & chips, both good. Portions were fair and service was friendly. Bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus.
The biggest downside for me was the music. It was extremely loud, making it impossible to have a conversation. The playlist itself felt random and didn’t really match the vibe. I understand it’s a bar, but it doesn’t need to feel like a nightclub. Seating is mostly high tables inside, with only a handful of low tables outside (maybe 4).
Overall, a fun place if you’re going for drinks, sports, or loud energy. If you’re looking for a quieter dinner with conversation, this might not be the right choice.
