4 /5 Ashlee Bowles: Great place to eat, very good selection with lots of variety! Mostly every visit Ive had here has been superb, no issues whatsoever and were good experiences. The only slightly weird/strange thing Ive had happen (but will NOT let this one encounter dictate the other lovely visits weve had here) was during a recent visit, my party of 3 had two waitresses managing our table: Hanna and Theresa.
We ordered single-course meals, no appetizers, entrees, etc.. Our bill was $56, well worth it because the food was amazing and it was a treat for us since we dont eat out much. Afterward, Hanna was the one who came to collect the payment, queueing up the tablet attached to the table. Once she processed my card, she asked if the tip should be taken from the card or given in cash... she did NOT ask if I even wanted to tip, but I told her cash anyway- played it off as an in the moment thing and didnt fault her.
Since we technically had two waitresses, I asked her how the tips were distributed amongst the waitresses. She told me they go to the waitress assigned to that specific table/order, not split evenly amongst the waiting staff. Taking her word for it, I asked if shed make a note to have it split between her and Theresa, she said no problem. I placed the cash on the table between myself and my family and she promptly reached to pick it up, and then proceeded to count it in front of us. While Ive never had someone count their tip money in front of me, this wasnt really a problem, just kinda made things awkward? She seemed satisfied with the amount and did say thank you, and that was the end of it.
