On Swann - (Near Tampa, FL)

4 /5 nishant narula: We went for brunch at On Swann last Sunday. We booked our reservation in advance. The roadside parking was full, so we parked in the garage nearby. When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted at the register and seated at our table. We were greeted by our server Caroline with menus.After checking out the menu, we started our order with appetizers, which included Italian Doughnuts, Croissant, Truffle Fries and for drinks we ordered Sober Mule, Watermelon-Strawberry, and coffee. For brunch, we ordered Avocado Toast, Mushroom Toast, Chicken Sandwich, Gemelli Pasta and Smoked Salmon. Soon we got our order for appetizers and drinks. From the appetizers, Truffle Fries were well made, Italian Doughnuts were also a good start to the brunch. We soon got our order for brunch, too. The Chicken Sandwich was delicious, tasty with a well-made chicken patty. The Smoked Salmon was delicious and well-cooked to perfection. The Gemelli Pasta was excellent as well, although the first portion I received was slightly undercooked.I returned it and received a perfectly cooked version, which was equally delicious and well made. Sunday brunch at the restaurant was great, with excellent service and delicious food.

5 /5 Michael Combs: Where to begin? First the staff here is top notch, world class service! I tried out several dishes from the menu and all had that wow factor. I started with the Kale salad which was absolutely fantastic. I loved the candied pecans which added a very nice touch and the kale was done perfectly. Next came the butternut squash soup. This is Fall in a bowl, amazing stuff! Then I went with the hot chicken which was less spicy than what I thought it would be but had very nice flavor and the chicken was juicy and cooked perfectly. I also tried the beef carpaccio which was very enjoyable. I finished my meal with the bread pudding which I highly recommend. On Swann also features a beautiful atmosphere which felt laid back and comfortable but upscale at the same time. The dishes are also presented well and one can appreciate the craftsmanship in the way the dishes are platted.

4 /5 Marty Premer: Great restaurant that’s been around a while in Hyde Park Village. Hyde Park has several places to eat, but I would say this is the spot for understated elegance and top-notch food. We went for lunch today and I had their famous kale salad with brussels sprouts and some grilled chicken. My friend was in the mood for a burger and a beer. It did not disappoint on either meal. Everything was prepared well and tasted wonderful. Service was great too. This is a lovely place to go on a date, celebrate a birthday, or just enjoy a nice evening out. I would say the clientele is more mature and it’s a quieter place than other establishments in Hyde Park Village.

5 /5 Skye-Marie Anderson-Marheine: Had a late lunch there today and as always, had a wonderful time. Alonso was our incredible server and was my favorite thus far! Very attentive & personable. Always looking forward to the next time there. Not pictured was the Chenin Blanc that was not bad. Would love to see a higher end Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough on the list in the future.

5 /5 Fullerton Pat (Pat): Food was phenomenal! My husband recently moved over from London and he said this may have been the best restaurant he has had since the move. Our waitress Skylar was super awesome, gave great recommendations. We ordered the Beez in the Trap, a dirty martini and Life Gives you lemons. All awesome. For food, we ordered the arancini (highly recommend), hot chicken appetizer, burrata (highly recommend), the short rib ragu, and half chicken. Definitely check out this place if in the Tampa Area. We were able to make a reservation 3-4 hours before and had no issues.
