1 /5 Daniela Gonzalez: I recently visited Oro in Miami on December 24th with my family to celebrate Nochebuena. The ambiance and aesthetics of the restaurant are absolutely stunning, and the cocktails were top-notch. It definitely has a great vibe for socializing and taking pictures, making it more of a bar-lounge experience than a traditional restaurant.
However, the food quality did not align with the high price point. We ordered one of the priciest fish dishes on the menu, and while it was decent, it didn’t deliver the exceptional quality we expected. We’ve had better meals at similar or even lower price points, so we felt that the food didn’t justify the cost.
Additionally, there was a lack of any special festive touches or unique celebratory elements for the occasion, which was a bit disappointing. The restaurant felt underwhelming and empty that night, which impacted the overall experience.
In summary, while Oro has a beautiful ambiance and great drinks, the dining experience didn’t meet our expectations for the price. There are definitely other places in Miami that offer better food and a more memorable dining experience.
