Peppers Cocina Mexicana - (Near Fleming Island, FL)

5 /5 Frank James: Peppers Mexican Grill & Cantina is always a great choice. I wasn’t sure what to order for dinner, so I decided to stick with appetizers and went with the steak, chicken, and lobster quesadilla—it was filling and delicious. The chips and salsa were excellent as always, and I paired my meal with a cold beer. The service was generally good, although my second beer took a little while to arrive, so I wrapped up after the first round. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. And don’t forget Taco Tuesday—it’s a great chance to mix and match tacos and try something new at a great price.

3 /5 Brandon Keating: First the good : The steak tacos were amazing the last time I visited here with my oldest daughter. That was maybe three years ago and everything we had was delicious. 7/10 visit The bad : I ordered Birria and it was a sad version of Barbacoa tacos not Birria style meat. With broth. The Barbacoa was dry so it definitely wasn’t cooked in the broth imo and not a Birria style broth with Guajillo pepper broth I’m used to at home. The broth was almost flavorless. 5/10 at best a lot left to be desired. If you like Birria and want to try another local spot La Catrina does a great job.

5 /5 Mrs Rob: Food was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is wonderful its fully stocked bar that looks amazing. The server was awesome and she was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed although the restaurant was not crowded she responded quickly once we were seated. She had to get our chips and salsa because the person that normally bring it over didn’t because she was getting our appetizers. The queso has a small amount of spice to it which I loved and the salsa did too. The guac was delicious and well seasoned. We had the nachos with steak, shrimp and chicken and everything was fresh. They didn’t disappoint unsure why they have a 4.4 but don’t hesitate to visit this restaurant. They are my first choice when I can’t get to 1810 Tacos and Tequila.

5 /5 s ng: We enjoyed our Wednesday (5:30pm live music) dinner here. Food was delicious and temperature of food is perfect. Oil used to cook their food is noticeably better quality than most other restaurants. Waitstaff and receptionist were both friendly, helpful and attentive. It’s a clean, tidy and well maintained restaurant. We will come back for more.

5 /5 Brian Lutz: Service was great and the food was even better. I got the Chimichanga Costena. It was delicious. It got a little noisy with a performer singing. Other than that great place and will be back.
