Larry Couch Came here to get breakfast and some coffee. It did not disappoint. It turned out to be a culinary experience. I had a cordadito (Cuban espresso) and an egg, ham and cheese breakfast burrito. That burrito sounds simple, but it has some stuff on it that made it other-worldly. Also, the place is uniquely decorated and has a cool vibe.

Gina Alvarez Menu says you get 3 tacos with rice and beans for $16.50. I ordered Birra. It comes with no rice and beans. I ask the waitress. She says that one doesnt come with it. I said the menu says it does. She says, yea not that one. Ok. The bill comes and Im charged $17 (instead if $16.50) for 3 flavorless tacos. Husbands meal was huge, but also pretty flavorless. The guacamole was good. No thanks. Wont be back. Much better options around.

Judith Phillips A culinary experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more!! My husband and I visited on a Saturday evening for our anniversary. We started at the outdoor bar. I ordered an espresso martini and my husband ordered an old fashioned. The bartender, Marissa, did an excellent job making our drinks. She took special care and made one of the best espresso martinis Ive ever drank. I even tasted my husbands old fashioned and it was wonderful. Then we moved to our reserved table on the patio. Our server Ryan was very attentive and did a wonderful job remembering everything we ordered. He brought our food in a very friendly and timely manner. He checked in on us and was very nice to talk to. He recommended the squash blossoms from the petite plates menu and they were absolutely amazing. I HIGHLY recommend you stop in and order them sometime! My husband ordered the chateau and herb buttered shrimp, steak medium. It was excellent but the cook on the steak was a bit uneven. Medium in some areas, medium rare in some, and medium to well in others So, if youre really picky about how your steak is cooked, keep that in mind. I ordered the scallop coguac feuttucini and substituted the scallops for chicken. The cognac sauce was to die for but my pasta was over cooked. I grabbed the manager, Robert, as he was walking by to give him some feedback. He was very nice and wonderful to talk with. He was apologetic for the over cooked pasta saying "yeah, I can see how overcooked it is" although he didnt offer any compensation. Im not mad about that because the food and service all around was excellent and I would return.

Valerie Parmele Our Birthday outing for moms birthday. Was exceptional. My steak was cooked to perfection, seasoned wonderfully. My husband ordered captain seafood platter. Seafood was cooked perfectly, great portions. Mom ordered hamburger steak dinner. She said it was delicious. Our server Jessica made sure our tea glasses stay filled. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Matt Swartz As always, food and service was excellent, even while busy a bit busy. Of all the places I have tried on Amelia Island, the Downunder has the best burger. The fish & chips (with the Blue Chips) is always great also. Since moving away from the area I only now get to eat here once or twice a year and I find it as good every time like they have never missed a beat. This place is truly an asset to the area.
