TideHouse Waterfront Restaurant - Stuart
Eric We have been here a few times and the food is always good. They sometimes have a DJ/singer that plays good music, which always makes it fun, although sometimes the music is a bit too loud. I think lunch and dinner music should be loud enough to hear and enjoy, but not so loud that you have to raise your voice to have a conversation, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere since thats just my opinion.
But the food and service are always great! We had the fish and chips, french dip, and the salmon and they were all delicious! The cole slaw was especially good, and thats not as easy to do as it sounds. Some make it too sweet, some make it too bland, but the Tidehouse makes it just perfect.
Prices are comparable to other water-side restaurants in the area, and as I said, the staff is always friendly and the food always comes out hot and tasty.
We always sit outside so we have a great view of the water and the boats sailing by, and the complimentary valet takes the stress out of trying to find parking. In addition to that, they have an elevator that takes you right from the valet station up to the restaurant, which was very helpful for my disabled mother.
The only suggestion I would make would be to perhaps put a little less breading on the fish for the fish and chips. But we have enjoyed it each time we have come here and would definitely recommend it!
