Kamara Wade I have been seeing this spot when I go to and from work. Its right by my house so today I decided to walk over there and they did not disappoint. The krewesaint i had was delicious. The service was great. Its nicely decorated. I will be going back.

Vargas Andrea (Andrea) We found this restaurant after going to one of our kids soccer game and wow we were super impressed with their food, everything was so delicious, the tacos, the quesadillas, rice and beans… everything was amazing, definitely your real authentic Mexican flavors. Our kids really enjoyed as well. Next time we are close to Tavares we will definitely come back to La Chona!

Arri B When I seen this little hole in the wall with menudo advertised out front I knew I had to go. I felt like I was in Mexico. The waitress was also cooking so don’t expect to be doted over this is a small establishment be patient with the workers because the food and atmosphere is what you’re there for. The place feels like you’re at your tias(aunts) house or a family gathering. My husband even converted to liking menudo he’s tried it 6+ times at other places and this place sold him. This was some of the best meals I have ever had. My food made me miss my abuelas cooking. If you want authentic food this is the place. We will definitely be making this a regular spot to eat.

Alexandra I Amber & Tania were the dynamic duo. Absolutely amazing and made our experience even better. The food was out. of. this. world. I mean WOW. There is a special story behind each farmer and where things are sourced. It’s a beautiful place in so many ways, the people, the food, the atmosphere. Cody was fantastic. Wow wow. Will recommend and will be back!

Tony Vongkultrup Was absolutely delicious . We were pleasantly surprised. I wasn’t expecting anything this nice so close to home . Usually we have to go downtown for stuff like this . The food was amazing . My only problem was the chicken from the Nashville how Milanese was a little salty . The meatball pomodor was the absolute star of the night though . My wife had hot pastrami was good as well . Amazing decor and ambiance . Our server V was very attentive and recommended the olive oil cake . I didn’t think I was gonna like it but was an amazing end to our lunch .
