5 /5 C Michael Harrer: As a DJ of 34 years, I’ve had the privilege of performing at countless venues — and I’m thrilled to now be hosting Sunday Karaoke at Salty D’s Beachside here in Ormond Beach. After my first night, I can confidently say this place is something special! The setup for entertainment is fantastic, but what really stood out to me was the staff. Ocean, Jay, and Matt were hustling behind the bar serving drinks all night, yet still made time to ensure I had everything I needed for a successful show. That level of teamwork goes a long way. And then there’s Dee — the owner and the heartbeat of the place. Her energy is contagious! She’s fun, positive, and truly hands-on. Even with a full staff, she jumped behind the bar, helped in the kitchen, and supported her team every step of the way. The smiles on everyone’s faces said it all. Important Note: I’m not writing this just because I’m working here. There are hundreds of venues across the Daytona area where DJs can perform, and I rarely post reviews. But Salty D’s and Dee made me feel welcome from the very first moment — it just felt right. If you’re looking for great vibes, great people, and great times… Salty D’s Beachside is a must-visit!

5 /5 Jay Rich: If you’re looking for a place that delivers incredible food, stunning views, and the kind of service that makes you feel like royalty, Salty D’s is it. The food is absolutely amazing every dish is packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and leaves you wanting more. Pair that with a view that’s easily one of the best in town, and you’ve got a dining experience that feels unforgettable. But what truly puts this place over the top is the service. It’s the best I’ve seen anywhere in town warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest feels taken care of. And the owner Absolutely phenomenal. You can feel the passion in everything they do, from the atmosphere to the menu to the personal touches that make the place feel welcoming the moment you walk in. If you haven’t been yet, go. You’ll end up wanting to come back again and again.

5 /5 Brooke Conley: We ate at Salty D’s for lunch and were pleasantly surprised with the offerings! I had a cooked to order Habanero Jam burger and my husband had a pacific Poke bowl. Both were very good! Thanks also to Greg who served and suggested these items. The 3rd story porch seating gave us a great view of the ocean and we even saw a sailboat cruise on by. We highly recommend Salty D’s!

5 /5 Tamara: Great Chef made mushroom soup bowl - perfect after a blustery beach day in December. The crowd was festive, inviting, and so much fun. They had kareoke at 7 and the owner Dee, personally invited me to stay and enjoy their Christmas party, complete w a Scavenger Hunt! Great atmosphere and great little supper spot!

5 /5 Trent McGoffin: Looking for a place to eat. Had great reviews with a great looking menu. The place its self looked amazing. Roof top bar grabbed our attention. Unfortunately not serving food but Owner opens for a dance lesson night. She saw us in parking lot and offered us to come in and buy a beer, her day off I might add. Really cool vibes with even better Owner. Great job...were coming back. 10 stars
