5 /5 Jared Barkman: Perfect! This was our first time eating here and we loved it. The environment was calm and perfect for an enjoyable daddy / daughter date night! I got a chicken teriyaki bento box. All dinner boxes come with a harbor roll, server recommended and I’m glad he did - it was good. My daughter ordered a pink lady roll, and chicken teriyaki. Their miso soup is amazing and the happy crab roll was very good as well. We will be back!

5 /5 Caregivers United: We had such an amazing experience with Kelly and the team at Samurai Japanese Fusion Sushi & Hibachi! The food was incredible! Fresh sushi, perfectly appetizers, and everything came out fast and hot. Kelly made sure the whole evening ran smoothly and you could tell she genuinely cared about everyone having a great time. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was spot on, and the entire night just had a great energy. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the food and the experience, but Samurai absolutely did. We’ll definitely be hosting more events here in the future, can’t wait to come back!

3 /5 Alina Perez: First and last time. The server took his sweet time to take our request. I ordered Lobster and filet mignon combination, he didnt ask me how I like it cooked. My daughter order tempura sushi. After a long while the salad and a bland soup arrived, much later, my steak was overcooked, my daughter Sushi was falling apart. Dinner tasted ok but it was not worth the price. Happy crab was yummy for a freebie. Awful tea, poor drink menu.

5 /5 Morgan M: My husband and I had a great experience here! We are on our honeymoon and numerous servers help to make our experience great! We got the sushi love boat for two, warm saki, and seaweed salad! The love boat for two definitely was a ton of food, and I love that we got to pick 2 of the rolls to customize the boat to our own taste! I picked the Titanic roll, and it was amazing! Our server, Adriana, knew we were celebrating our honeymoon and even gave us complementary fried Oreos With candles! She even said some really sweet words! Definitely recommend for anyone in the Sarasota or Lido area!

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and you can actually watch the chefs roll the sushi right in front of you — it’s fascinating to see how fresh everything is. The service was excellent — our waitress was super friendly, cheerful, and very helpful with recommendations. They have a great lunch special: a clear/miso soup and two rolls for about $13–14, which is an amazing deal. The clear soup was light, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. And the rolls — absolutely incredible! Everything was so fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The variety on the menu is impressive — there’s something for everyone. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. We’ll definitely be coming back!
