Spears Cafe - (Near Marianna, FL)

Fernando Martinez Excellent experiences. First time at Froggers. This is a franchise business with four locations in the area. We have driven by many times and finally decided to stop for late lunch on a Thursday. It was so good that we decided to come again on Sunday. Twice in one week. Both experiences were excellent with only one draw back, the kitchen is slow. That said the food is carefully prepared, beautifully plated and delicious. Worth the wait, even for sports bar food! The building is easy spot with big signs and a bold GREEN color. When we first walked in we found the restaurant lively, beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating in a large restaurant. This place is BIG and can accommodate groups easily. We sat at a table although there are plenty of booths as well. The bar area beyond the main dining room is big as well with dining tables, high-top tables and ample seating at the bar. Beyond the bar, is the outdoor patio seating area which is big as well, with ample seating. This restaurant can accommodate ALOT of people. The greeter and our waitress were charming and personable. Very attentive and helpful. We both ordered bacon cheeseburgers without the bread. I had mine with double beef, double bacon and a fried egg with vegetables. My wife got the standard bacon cheeseburger with tater tots. We also got a 5 wing appetizer to sample the wings. The food was hot and delicious. The two minor issues with the meal were tha (1) it took a long time to get the food. Twice as long as I would have expected. (2) I ordered my burger with pepper jack cheese and it came with American. We waited so long in refused to say anything and scrapped the cheese off. It was such a great experience we decided to return in a few days and try a few more dishes. Three days later we were back. Once again we experienced excellent service. This time we ordered the Froggers nachos, a White Pizza and 10 chicken wings. Consistent with our first visit the food was excellent. And the wait time significantly. It’s worth the wait for the food, no question. But set your expectations. The folks in the kitchen are pro’s and they take their time. Absolutely worth going! I will be back.

Eric Johnston Dont let the front of the restaurant fool you, inside is warm and comfortable. I liked the fact that out server explained the menu before we ordered which led me to ordering a taco. It was fresh and very tasty. The tortillas were soft and held onto the ingredients. I had the Fresh Fish taco and one was enough to satisfy. Also had the churros, yum!

Chili Mac Its always the same old same here and my expectations are very low. If it wasnt convenient to the jobsite Id opt out but driving further into town for McDs or BK cuts too deep into my break time and I can only eat so many tacos. It sure would be nice if they could at least keep the lobby clean and necessary syrups in the Coke Freestyle machine since they seem so inconvenienced for a refill (a situation they created by not ordering enough inventory - supply chain issues should be eliminated by now, right?!). I dont understand how this location can have so many bad reviews and not be under the microscope for food and service quality. Im over the focus being on pushing orders out the drive thru window when you have people patiently waiting inside. If you dont want to deal with the lobby, remodel the location into a dual drive thru like a Rallys or Checkers. Regardless of the market for employee availability, if you take care of your employees they will take care of your customers. Work hard. Be better.

Samuel Benji Great family owned shop! The family was very welcoming and accommodating. We felt like we were invited into their home. The food was very good!

Laranda Edwards It would all be zero had there not been an Antoine and the older lady with the braids. They know customer service, work ethic, team work, and family feel. If everyone at this location would just do what these 2 do it would be amazing. I had a horrible experience last night that also included a manager getting rude with my 5 year old grandson. I held my tongue took my nasty food, and tried calling later with no answer. So I went up there today and an angel named Antoine (sp?) was there to help. But also the aura of the restaurant was changed. The lazy, rude feel was gone. IDK THAT BLACK LADY WITH THE BRAIDS, I WANT TO SAY GWEN, BUT SHE IS AN ANGEL WHO DESERVES A RAISE. SO DOES THE STORE MANAGER. THANK YOU FOR RESTORING MY FAITH IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HUMAN NATURE. LOVE YOUR BOTH.
