5 /5 Alicia: his restaurant kept popping up on Instagram, so while I was in West Palm for the weekend and looking for a good brunch spot, I decided to check it out. I made a reservation—which I definitely recommend—and had no issues or long wait. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with the exact vibe we were hoping for: good music, lively atmosphere, but not too loud.
I was excited to try the drinks, and they did not disappoint. The passion fruit margarita was spot on. My mom’s guava mojito was delicious, and my friend ordered the Rosanova, which had a super cool presentation served in a rose-shaped glass.
As for the food, it was average for Mexican cuisine. The torta was a good size and well-cooked, but the fries were a very small portion and tasted a bit stale for being part of the main dish. The steak tacos were okay but lacked some flavor. While they came with a generous amount of meat, they were overpacked and served on a single tortilla that fell apart as we ate. The side of Mexican rice unfortunately tasted like boxed, premade rice instead of the traditional style I expected. The sweet plantains, however, were good.
Pricing was as expected—yes, a bit pricey, but it matches the area and overall experience.
Our waitress Lillian was awesome! Very attentive and gave suggestions on food and wasn’t super sweet and checked in on us regularly.
Overall, it was a good experience. I’d definitely return, probably more for drinks at the bar, appetizers, or a night out with my girlfriends, rather than for a full sit-down dinner or brunch.
