Taverna - Jacksonville

HAMMOND TRANSPORT LLC This is absolutely one special place! Bradley was our server and just knocked it out of the ball park. It was our first time dining at Taverna and we asked Bradley to set us up with the top recommended dishes for the 5 of us. Everything was just perfect and the Chef is extremely talented! When you let a Chef do his thing by working with his staff and going “off script” to showcase their talents as a team, you end up with a purely curated, customized and personal experience like the one we had. Our table shared every plate family style which allowed all of us to sample more from the menu and by the time we were finished, we all had a full four-course meal! Very highly recommend and let them wow you. We will be back! Cheers y’all

Alisha Justice You will not leave hungry! These sandwiches are stacked with fresh ingredients and delicious! We had the club and turkey panini and had absolutely nothing negative to say about either!

Jenna Martin Cute place with food that all I can say is WOW! We experimented with a lot since we had never had anything like this. Started with the smoked fish dip and truffle burrata. We wanted more. Then our table had the mixed grill (added on a lamb chop), the open faced grilled chicken pita, moussaka, mushroom medley risotto with shrimp, and mushroom medley risotto with braised lamb. Dinner was SO GOOD we HAD to try dessert. Baklava, traditional Greek orange cake, and the crème brûlée. Please eat here. You won’t regret it.

Bavaria Pensacola - Pensacola

Rating: 4.5 /5
Terry Lopez We had dinner at Bavaria on Sunday evening after walking around downtown Pensacola. It was interesting as the front of the restaurant was a German bar and the rear a pizzeria. We were greeted by staff and sat at our table quickly. Our server was friendly and informative. We ordered a giant pretzel as an appetizer, but unfortunately it did not arrive until after our food had arrived and our server did not realize it. He said someone in the kitchen had marked it as served. When I said we really wanted it as an appetizer was told oh it will warm up good. We were visiting and staying at a hotel so did not have a good way to reheat so just ended up throwing it away. The pretzel was average and we could tell it was a frozen and not freshly made one. We also ordered a pizza (I forgot to take a photo) and it was good. It was cooked in an open wood fire and was fresh. I ordered the fig and goat cheese burger and it was so DELICIOUS!!! Definitely recommend ordering that! My son had the bacon cheese burger but for him the pretzel bun was too much bread. Overall a good choice for dinner.

Dan Dowling Place delivered exactly what it promised. Typical Florida beach food in a relaxed environment. Friendly staff. Quick service. I got the fried grouper sandwich and clam chowder, my buddy got the blackened shrimp tacos. He eats here once a week. It was my first time. Ill be back.

SimplePerspective The food here is so good! The orange chicken is amazing it’s made with white chicken breast instead of dark meat, which I really prefer. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. Definitely one of the best spots around for a good meal!
