Texas Roadhouse - (Near Sanford, FL)

1 /5 Barbara Wilson: My family and I went to Texas Roadhouse on Sunday November 16th. The service was awful. We waited on our food for about 45 minutes, for it to come out incorrect. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. When the meal came out it was some sort of fried beef and no mashed potatoes. When I inquired I was told sorry let me go get them. He came back and stated” we are out of mashed potatoes. I then told him about the beef that was on my plate floating in oil. My niece ordered the grilled shrimp and was told after the fact they were also out of Mac and cheese. My daughter ordered the kids steak bites that were burnt beyond recognition. Saying all this to say this was the worst customer experience I have had in a long time. The manager did come out and offer to get me the correct order. When she did bring it out it was also floating in oil. By that time I was just over it. She stated she would take it off the bill and just walked away. I will never visit this location again.

5 /5 Amanda Doyle: Very busy saturday night! I got my usual, 12oz ribeye and shrimp combo with loaded potato, green beans and brown gravy on the side. My shrimp were overcooked but the amazing service from our gentle giant server, Marshall, made up for anything lacking. He totally made a really chaotic restaurant feel like home. Thank you Marshall!

4 /5 David Anderson: This is for a visit at dinnertime however a very early dinner at 4:30pm. Why 4:30? Not because were old (well not entirely) but because if you go at normal dinnertime, the place is loud, very loud to the point you can barely hear talking to your table mates. The acoustic design is absolutely horrible, it cant handle a full house with people talking, kids screaming, etc. This was a perfect time to arrive. The restaurant was mostly quiet, we were sat quickly and our server appeared right away {thank you 4:30). The rolls were fresh and given to us immediately. No peanuts were in the pail, seems you may have to ask for them now. They have a pretty good deal for early bird dinner, we ordered off of that menu section. We ordered the 6oz sirloin and the BBQ chicken. Our server was very attentive, the food came out fairly quickly and was cooked appropriately. The restaurant was clean and parking was not an issue (again, TY 4:30). It doesnt seem they have the payment kiosks working at the tables which was fine. The bill was calculated correctly, no tip calculation "push" so you could freely pick your own %. Overall a good experience because (did I mention?) we arrived at 4:30pm. Because of the noise and slower service (mostly the noise) at regular dinnertime, we would never go at that time.

The meal vouchers, friendly staff, and genuine recognition for service make such a difference — but our favorite part, by far, is the thoughtful letter created by area school kids sharing their words of gratitude. What a meaningful touch! Thank you, Texas Roadhouse, for your amazing service, delicious food, and ongoing charity work in the community. Your kindness and patriotism shine through every year.
