4 /5 Michael Perry: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 The Blind Monk – West Palm Beach, FL We had a really enjoyable night at The Blind Monk in West Palm Beach. The space itself is gorgeous—very green, stylish, and modern with a chic, slightly industrial/warehouse feel. It has a lively, fun vibe that makes it great for a night out, though I can see how the ambiance might feel a bit cool or minimalist to some diners. Food & Menu: The menu is fantastic—creative, well-curated, and full of dishes that feel refined without trying too hard. Overall, the food was excellent. Our top three favorites were the cauliflower, smashed cucumbers, and the fried chicken dish. All three were big standouts, beautifully seasoned and balanced. The chicken especially was tender and well-prepared, and the cauliflower had great texture and flavor. Some small misses: a couple dishes came out at a lower temperature than ideal, which took away from otherwise well-executed plates. Service also had a few hiccups—dishes weren’t swapped out between courses, and after the fried chicken course, it would’ve been nice to have moist towels provided, especially since it’s a hands-on dish. Drinks: Both the wine and mocktails were excellent. The Cabernet we ordered (Bloodroot) was delicious and paired well with the meal. The mocktails had great flavor too—bright and refreshing—but one arrived only half-filled, which was a bit surprising for the price point. Dessert: The angel food cake was huge—definitely generous enough to share—and visually impressive. But flavor-wise, it wasn’t anything special and didn’t quite match the creativity of the savory dishes earlier in the meal. Overall: Despite a few service and execution misses, we really enjoyed our night here. The food is inventive and satisfying, the drinks are on point, and the space is beautiful. We’ll definitely be back again.

4 /5 Silvia S: Invited to dinner at this WPB local place. First time diner. Outdoor dining available which is ample sized. A little warm yet I can see it’d be a fabulous area when our weather is cooler. We started outside then requested an inside table when I felt my legs were being bitten. (Not a commentary on the place, simply a part of outdoor life in FL, at times). Taris, the Hostess, was fabulous! Upbeat, engaging, attentive and helpful. ⭐️ She quickly accommodated our change to an inside table and we kept our server, Marie, who was exceptional. Marie is friendly, very attentive, checking on us frequently, knows the menu and made great recommendations. I’ll say that the attendant staff is also doing a great job with keeping our water glasses filled, clearing the tables and frequently looking for any needs guests might have. Kudos to the Blind Monk Team! The food….delectable! My pics don’t do it justice, yet I’m posting anyway so you can see size, portions and presentation. Compliments to the Chef and cooks! Flavors were delicious! If you’re in WPB, this is a nice place to stop for a relaxing evening.

5 /5 Philip: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely phenomenal! The food wasn’t just good—it was superb. The pork chops might have been the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The oxtail pasta was incredible—rich, tender, and cooked to perfection. The only thing that fell a little short were the French fries, which were a bit underwhelming compared to everything else. And as an added bonus, the parking validation was such a blessing—it made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend The Blind Monk. I’ll definitely be back!

5 /5 Thaitea: This restaurant gave me so much surprise. The potato reminded me of my grandma. The exactly the same taste as my grandma made, which is not very common in the states! The roasted chicken has the perfect temperature, crispy and juicy. Cucumber with yogurt is a fresh and delicious combination! Reservation is recommended during the weekends.

5 /5 Kala Markel: I wasn’t sure since there were mixed reviews but both times I went it was phenomenal. The bartender I had the first night was a server the second night and she was amazing to watch. And apparently she makes the chocolate cake, too! The second female bartender was also amazing with great cocktail stories and suggestions. It’s clear they enjoy their jobs and I thought the food I had was phenomenal! Someone said about getting lukewarm food and both nights my pasta was so hot I had trouble cooling it down fast enough to shovel it in. Excellent service, excellent food and an awesome, chill vibe!
