3 /5 Julie Carla Mayuyo: Let’s break down our experience at the Cheesecake Factory.
We arrived around 9:30 p.m., and the first thing I noticed was the bathroom — very dirty and not well-maintained. I always wash my hands before eating, and seeing it like that was disappointing. I understand it was late, almost closing time, but for a big, popular restaurant like this, it shouldn’t be an excuse.
The first time my husband and I ate here was back in 2021, and honestly, the food wasn’t great. That’s why we never came back until yesterday, when my nieces wanted to try it.
Fast forward to 2025, and unfortunately, not much has changed.
I ordered the Diane steak and only took one bite.
My daughter ordered the kids’ Alfredo. She tasted it once and didn’t touch it again.
My nephew got the pizza and said it was too greasy.
The rest of the kids ate some of their food, but most of us ended up asking for boxes because no one really enjoyed their meal.
The cappuccino was very strong. My niece didn’t like it at all, but I actually did, everyone just has different preferences when it comes to coffee, so I don’t blame them for that one.
The lighting inside was extremely dim, which didn’t help the overall vibe.
Will I come back again? Maybe… in another four years. I’m not sure.
They do have a huge variety on the menu, but from what we ordered burgers, pasta, steak — nothing really stood out. The only thing that tasted good was the cheesecake, which is expected since that’s their signature item. It’s good, not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely enjoyable. Just be aware that one slice is usually 900–1,200+ calories, so it’s not something you’d consider “light.”
Overall, the experience was okay, but not great. Definitely not somewhere I’d rush back to.
*calamari is actually good.
