3 /5 J Soldevilla: For its location is a nice quite billiards and restaurant. Not crowded and friendly staff. Tables are in good condition but a bit dusty. A few ants at bar counter. They have a cozy back patio. Not sure if allowed for smoking and drinking. Overall a nice place. Hope to visit during a tournament game.

1 /5 Lauren Smalls: I have been twice now, hoping that my 1st experience was a fluke. Both times I was there for the restaurant, not pool. The food was TERRIBLE both times. Extremely greasy, cake was so old it tasted like gravel. The service was atrocious. We waited 45 minutes and when we complained about the food being inedible, they didnt even remove it from the bill. The environment is dark. Honestly in a pool hall/restaurant the menu should be much smaller and focus on finger foods. In the words of Gordon Ramsay, do less things but do them really well. The whole restaurant needs a revamp.

5 /5 Tim Howells: I suppose most people avoid Corner Pocket cause its a pool hall? Well no smoke, no smoke smell, no rough crowds. Just a clean environment all away around! The owners are a family operation. I hate to even mention the Mayport shrimp special (Fridays). Way better than Corky Bells, shrimp shak and anywhere else local. Dont try it out, cause I would hate to fight a crowd! PS: I never do reviews.

3 /5 Cory B.: The service was ok and the food was surprisingly good. Plenty of pool tables a relatively small dinning area. The place reminds me of a small town restaurant/bar from the 80s. The type of place that the owners only put money into it when it was absolutely necessary. A good selection on the menu.

5 /5 Matt Swartz: Went on a Saturday night and enjoyed everything. “Dave” was singing some great songs while we ate some nice food- Philly cheesesteaks and tater tots to wash down some beer. Then we enjoyed the only 2 people sitting at the bar getting up and dancing on said bar while the national spitting competition (watermelon seeds) played on a couple of the hanging televisions. Other tv had football so something for everyone to enjoy. The pool tables were great as usual and not crowded at all. Made for an enjoyable, if not strangely comedic, night out for the family. Little “hometown” feel.
