The Mermaid Queen - (Near Hollywood, FL)

BeeBee Louie UNMATCHED!! The food is so good I can eat the white rice by ITSELF! I’ve never seen a Haitian restaurant so beautiful and elevated. I love the Hollywood location and this location is just right for a date night, girls night, birthday party, brunch, happy hour, or just a drink and hookah after a long day l… ALL THE THINGS!! And all of the servers are nice. Tamera? (I’m so bad with names!) is a sweetheart and everyone else is a good vibe. I have no complaints. Some menu items take some time but I’m gonna wait for fresh food every single time! And they have a live DJ on the weekends? and they have legume? and the sos pwa isnt burnt? I can go on and on… JUST GO!! The food was so good I forgot to take pictures. I got you next time.

D. Smith I can’t say enough about this place. I love that it’s locally owned. We met the owners’ son, such a nice guy! There’s 3 different areas of the restaurant to choose from, inside, outside on the patio, and then outside at the tiki bar area, which is full service. We were there on a Sunday and there was a live band. The only issue for me was that smoking was allowed in the tiki bar area. Since food is served in that area, it just seems like smokers could have a little designated area so everyone could enjoy the tiki bar. For those that don’t smoke it is a little offensive, and for me personally, it makes me nauseous. (Just sharing that little tidbit for the owners.) So, we had to chose to sit on the patio down from the tiki bar and were still able to enjoy our lunch and the band, smoke-free! Hailey was our server. She was excellent! I’ve included a picture of the ahi tuna appetizer. As you can see it is beautifully plated, and everything was delicious! We also had the jumbo lump crab stuffed mushrooms, and a blackened grouper sandwich! We will be back!!!

Barb Wood Beautiful ocean view outdoor seating. Decent prices. Not much for gluten free options but the salad I got was delicious!

Jennifer Crespo This place is flexible. Has a good familiar environment and late night has an awesome environment to dance, sing and enjoy between adults. The food is delicious and the waitress was always monitoring our status with the food and drink.

Amber Martin I decided to enjoy one last cute-looking place before I traveled home from my vacation. This was great. The service was good. The food came out quickly and was delicious (I couldnt eat it all, but it was easy to take the rest with me). And the atmosphere was so fun.
