The Roots Restaurant Tavern - (Near Melbourne, FL)

Wynter Wonderland Productions I own a few small businesses. I met with a client to catch up and vent. Although, it as not very busy which was nice for lunch, it was superb view the inside was clean and everyone seemed welcoming/warm. I really enjoyed the wasabi sauce with calamari, calamari was a little… chewy… not the word to use but not the worst (rubbery isn’t the correct description either) but still good, the hint of pomegranate hidden in the molasses that was on the Brussels was a nice surprise and added flavor level. My client and I both had burgers. I got mine with no onions but I did add jalapeños(which I’m hoping were made in house, nice flavor and spice level) and bacon, Juicy and flavorful, with the horseradish Dijon it was a flavor party. Superb for an afternoon and late birthday outing for us both! Def looking forward to another return!!

The Mid-Watch Ive driven by this place a few times and finally decided to stop. After it was all said and done, I honestly regret not stopping by sooner. The fried shrimp, boneless buffalo nuggets, baked oysters were all great...absolutely no complaints about the main courses we had. However, they have this thing called Wampus Bread that I believe is supposed to be their take on hushpuppies, but they were not that good, and Im a guy that will literally eat anything, except Wampus Bread now. Our server Kadene was incredible! She was really nice, and being it was our first time there she was patient with us and answered all of our questions. Now about the atmosphere! There are dollar bills all over the place...not a new concept, but cool to see! They also have a great spot out back to dine and feed the fish in the pond...great for little kids if you got some. I thought the prices were reasonable. We (four of us) ordered three main dishes and sides which was enough for all of us and spent $140 including the tip. Id definitely come back to Dustys again upon returning to PCB, it a great place for family or just grabbing a drink and hanging out a while.

Sara Holmes It’s just how you imagine it would be very nice. If you want to be a niche take out food baddie on a budget go here. I give it like a 6-7 for the rangoons tho. I really like this place!!

SC Teacher New menu! Cheeseburger soup bowl and Spinach fruit feta salad with grilled chicken! A first and a favorite for this soup! Hubby later ordered the “Hey, Girl, Hey!” Smashed burger & sweet potato fries. Delish! Also learned about a new drink by High Noon. Happy NYE dinner before our flight home.

Matt Swartz As always, food and service was excellent, even while busy a bit busy. Of all the places I have tried on Amelia Island, the Downunder has the best burger. The fish & chips (with the Blue Chips) is always great also. Since moving away from the area I only now get to eat here once or twice a year and I find it as good every time like they have never missed a beat. This place is truly an asset to the area.

Sean Doubek Was in town for 2 nights. We were out and stopped here on a whim. Went all out and had jalapeño poppers, fried mushrooms and fried pickles. The portion sizes were good, especially for the price. The pickles were delicious, the other 2 were ehh. Pretty sure they were from a freezer bag, but thats ok. We had the blackened shrimp with coleslaw and fries and the pot roast with grilled potatoes and coleslaw. Coleslaw was just a little sweet, not too overpowering. Everything else was delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive and I am sorry I cant remember your name! Was hungry and forgot to take pictures, oh well. Would absolutely eat here again.
