The Salty Tarpon - (Near Punta Gorda, FL)

Refurbished Farmer I visit weekly and am thoroughly impressed. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels inviting and the smell of fresh tortillas filling the air. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Our server took the time to explain a few of the specialty dishes and made great recommendations. I ordered the el pastor tacos, and they were absolutely delicious — tender, perfectly seasoned, and served with fresh cilantro, onions, and a squeeze of lime. The house-made salsa had just the right amount of heat. What really stood out was the attention to detail. The food came out hot, portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly prepared. Overall, this restaurant delivers a genuine Mexican dining experience that’s hard to find. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or a full dinner with friends, you’ll leave full and happy. Highly recommend!

Lex Tracton I’ve been to Hot Asian Buns twice now and will absolutely continue to revisit. I had the vegan Korean fried chicken bao buns and they were absolutely delicious and very filling. The staff are very welcoming and provide excellent service. There is an abundance of seating options. Love that there is a station with moist towelettes, toothpicks, cold water, and cold water with lemon. The decor is fun, I personally love all the movie posters. I would love to see more vegan options in the future. Maybe some loaded fries with the slaw, some of the sauce used for the vegan bao, or kimchi without fish sauce?!

Johnny Hiett Good Parking. Good wait staff. Great new interior and place. Indoor, outdoor in good weather. Outdoor live music. Great varied foods, with smoked daily meats. Like any real BBQ place they may run out or have items not available. Clean new seating. Good bathrooms. And even open on Thanksgiving! Prices are low for this area. Go get some.
