The Shack Riverfront Restaurant & Outback Tiki Bar! - (Near Palm Bay, FL)

5 /5 D. Smith: I can’t say enough about this place. I love that it’s locally owned. We met the owners’ son, such a nice guy! There’s 3 different areas of the restaurant to choose from, inside, outside on the patio, and then outside at the tiki bar area, which is full service. We were there on a Sunday and there was a live band. The only issue for me was that smoking was allowed in the tiki bar area. Since food is served in that area, it just seems like smokers could have a little designated area so everyone could enjoy the tiki bar. For those that don’t smoke it is a little offensive, and for me personally, it makes me nauseous. (Just sharing that little tidbit for the owners.) So, we had to chose to sit on the patio down from the tiki bar and were still able to enjoy our lunch and the band, smoke-free! Hailey was our server. She was excellent! I’ve included a picture of the ahi tuna appetizer. As you can see it is beautifully plated, and everything was delicious! We also had the jumbo lump crab stuffed mushrooms, and a blackened grouper sandwich! We will be back!!!

4 /5 BassKickers Outdoors: Just moved to the area and looking for some local places for food food and a place to hang out, have a drink, maybe watch the game and chat with folks. Well this spot is pretty sweet. The food is very good with a wide selectionfrom seafood, pastas and grill fair. Great bar selection from beers to classic tropical drinks. The service was excellent and the tiki bar section is one heck of time at night with live bands and dancing amd a great patio.The prices vary from fair to pricey depending on what your budget is. But im sure you will find your pleasure here no doubt. Definitely worth stopping in for a drink, dinner or a bit of both with a little dancing with your partner.

2 /5 Lorri Graff: This place has had 3 chances with us. The first was a scallop appetizer at the bar one trivia night. Cold,small and overpriced. 2nd was Thanksgiving 2 years ago. Took over an hour to get served for a party of 6. Food cold and extremely small portions. Tried again today for Thanksgiving. First they did not have our reservation. We were then seated outside where 2 parties that arrived after us were served first. The door to go inside was constantly being opened and closed resulting in sqeaks and bangs. They were done their meals before we got ours an hour later. Food was cold and pitiful looking yet again. No more for us. I cant even believe they had the nerve to serve the measly thin slice of fatty cold prime rib. I will try to get my pics up. Server was decent and friendly. No more chances for me.
