Alexander Delacruz Tropico has been a cornerstone of my life for over 20 years, and it’s high time I shared just how much this place means to me. Since my teenage years, Tropico has been my go-to spot for the best Cuban breakfast in town—and it has never, ever let me down. First and foremost, the food is beyond exceptional. Whether you’re craving a perfectly pressed Cuban toast, rich café con leche, or a hearty plate of huevos with a side of crispy bacon, Tropico delivers every single time. The flavors are authentic, comforting, and prepared with the kind of love and attention that reminds you of home. Over the years, their consistency has been nothing short of remarkable—every dish tastes just as incredible as it did the first time I visited. The service? It’s like being welcomed by family. The staff is warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a great experience. They take the time to get to know their regulars, and after all these years, walking into Tropico feels like catching up with old friends. There’s a sense of community here that’s rare to find and impossible to replicate. The atmosphere is quintessentially Cuban, full of life and energy. For over two decades, Tropico has been my top choice for a delicious, authentic Cuban breakfast. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a tradition, a touchstone, and a place that holds so many cherished memories. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. Tropico is a gem, and I’m so grateful to have it in my life. Here’s to 20 more years of phenomenal breakfasts and unforgettable.

Amelia Mcferran Went here for breakfast with my family and had an absolutely amazing experience! Everything from the moment we walked in was wonderful. Our waiter, Nico, was such a sweetheart, so friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, cozy, and super cute, and even the restroom was spotless and smelled great (which says a lot!). The food was incredible and full of flavor. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!

Sima Rama This place is worthy of a Michelin star in my personal opinion. The first time I had, their food was from their food truck and it was delicious. We happened to be driving back home to Satellite Beach from a Mims speaking engagement and the owner of this restaurant was also a fellow speaker. So we stopped by the restaurant as we had such a good experience with their food truck and their story is inspiring. Oh my God, their food is even better at the restaurant. We ordered so much food, and each every dish was so delicious! We started off with fried green tomatoes, fried okra, smothered fried pork chops, fried catfish, collard greens, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy, and lima beans. We were so satisfied full, we forgot to order dessert! And I had my eyes on the peach cobbler, as one doesn’t see that offered by many restaurants. The service was great too. We never had to wait too long to ask the server, nor wait too long to get anything, and service was always pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere is down home comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this restaurant for any sized group - from 2 to 20, families, colleagues, etc. You won’t be disappointed!

Elihu Salas I stopped at La Granja and ordered their lunch special, the lomo saltado, along with a passion fruit juice. Both were delicious. The rice and beans were flavorful, and the steak strips were juicy and well-seasoned. A satisfying meal all around.

Customer Service Absolutely amazing food!!! I was there 45 minutes before closing. They were very nice. Told me they would be putting some stuff away. And everything still tasted really really good and the service is absolutely friendly kept refilling my drink and even near closing they never rushed me and kept food out till closing. The banana pudding is the best!! The best dessert they have!! A must try!
