Yah Mon Caribbean Restaurant - (Near Tampa, FL)

D. Smith I can’t say enough about this place. I love that it’s locally owned. We met the owners’ son, such a nice guy! There’s 3 different areas of the restaurant to choose from, inside, outside on the patio, and then outside at the tiki bar area, which is full service. We were there on a Sunday and there was a live band. The only issue for me was that smoking was allowed in the tiki bar area. Since food is served in that area, it just seems like smokers could have a little designated area so everyone could enjoy the tiki bar. For those that don’t smoke it is a little offensive, and for me personally, it makes me nauseous. (Just sharing that little tidbit for the owners.) So, we had to chose to sit on the patio down from the tiki bar and were still able to enjoy our lunch and the band, smoke-free! Hailey was our server. She was excellent! I’ve included a picture of the ahi tuna appetizer. As you can see it is beautifully plated, and everything was delicious! We also had the jumbo lump crab stuffed mushrooms, and a blackened grouper sandwich! We will be back!!!

dvb 2112 County Boys is one of those off-the-beaten-path places you usually only find through a local recommendation. It’s the kind of great secret people keep so it doesn’t get overcrowded or lose its personal touch. The food was fantastic, especially the seafood, and the service was just as good. Do yourself a favor and find this place when you get a chance.

Sandy Bertha What an amazing dining experience! We had the pleasure of being seated from the owner who was so attentive and even spent time telling us all the specials and local favorites! Melissa was our serever and she never missed a beat! We never had to ask for drink refills or condiments. All of our food was fresh and cooked to perfection! We highly recommend the gator tail and the prime rib eggrolls! Clean clean clean!!

Tori Grable I’m sad that I did not come to this place sooner! Wow! We got the Oxtail, Jerk Rasta Pasta, and Two sides of the Mac and cheese! I placed and online order and it was amazing! Such a friendly place with great food!

Mary Beth The Depot visit for lunch as a guest was beyond what I even imagined. Not only was the decor fun to look at details, but the choo choo train was such a nice surprise. Our food was excellent. The pulled pork sandwich was so above what I had at a well known bbq place a week ago. This sandwich was the same price and double the amount of the one before. The sauce on the sandwich at The Depot was also so much better than the other place. We had the Chicken sandwich, the Lobster Roll, the truffle fries and found nothing that wasnt good. The plates were garnished and pleasing to the eye, the food at the temp it should be and the side of potato salad was unexpected but so good. Plus the real train outside on the train was unexpected and exciting. This place is definitely on my list to visit again many times and highly recommend to all that just want a relaxing, fun, great food place. The service was excellent and John made sure we had everything we needed.

Louis and Elaine This is one of the 68 Style Sonny’s Barbecue Restaurants which has a drive up window and serves alcoholic beverages. The atmosphere is clean and modern with well spaced seating. The food is very good. I really liked my pulled pork plate. Our server was superb, very friendly and attentive. A great meal.
