A Lighter Side - (Near Douglas, GA)

Mullet Nightlatch Wonderful little family-owned restaurant serving home cooked style country meals. Mrs Padgett took our order and Mr Padgett brought our food to the table. We had a chance to visit with both, they are a lovely and friendly couple. DW ordered meatloaf, cucumber salad, potato salad and biscuit. I ordered the chicken and rice casserole, pinto beans, cabbage and cornbread. Our food arrived quickly, hot and was delicious. We were so taken with everything that we returned again the following day on the way home.

Mr. Twizted Not enough seasoning for me on the chicken, however the potato salad and the beans were on point, the people were excellent dessert was good.

Mod Pond Atmosphere was amazing, food was great my coke was so strong just the way I like it… crew was working hard and was very helpful …. The restroom was the most important part they was clean and stocked

Michele Ortiz This place is a true gem. It took me back to my childhood days eating with my family. The staff and owner both made me and my husband feel like family. I can’t wait to come back. I will definitely add this into our rotation. Ask for Eugene. He was attentive and polite and suggested excellent recommendations!
