AKAMI sushi & grill - (Near Dawsonville, GA)

5 /5 Steven: This is a MUST. Walking in, you realize the place is special. Beautiful, fresh and bright. Same as the food and the dinnerware it is served on. Each sushi roll had a nice portion of fish, which unlike others, actually tasted like a "sushi" roll. Hot fresh dumplings full also of flavor. This was a late lunch, reasonable priced, cant wait to go back and sample the dinner menu.

5 /5 Lara V: I was pleasantly surprised by this place. They had just opened this location a couple of weeks ago and hasnt had a lot of advertising BUT it should definitely be on the map! The service was excellent, the ambiance was fun and bright but the music was odd. Straight up rap music was a bit strange but it was definitely...entertaining? Now, on to the food. They have a wide range of sushi to choose from as well as an hibachi menu. The food was excellent. Freshly made sushi by a sushi chef and it didnt take forever. The prices are excellent as well. They have quite a bit to choose from and if you go at lunch they have smaller portions if you want. I will definitely be coming back!

5 /5 Madison Campese: Our family of 6 came here last minute on Sunday and all agreed this place is a 10/10 and we WILL be back! Our waitress, Eva, was possibly the best waitress I have ever met. She was not only kind and polite, but was quick with service and refills, very knowledgeable on the menu. The food was incredible - I’ve eaten a lot of sushi over the years, but this us the best I have ever had. The quality of everything was superb. We ordered the Calamari, Fried Gyoza, Shrimp Shumai, and Crab Wontons as our appetizers and wre blown away by all of them! I ordered the Angry Dragon roll and Chicken Katsu for my Entree and enjoyed every bite. The inside if the restaurant is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. If you are local to the area or even just passing through- you are missing out if you don’t go here!!! We are already trying to plan when we can come back! Thank you to Eva and the chefs for an incredible Sunday evening and dinner.
