Backwoods Steak House - (Near Tallapoosa, GA)

3 /5 Jodi Wheeler: The people were great. We had a group of 23 people. The staff was attentive and did great with all of us. The food was good but not amazing. With that many people in our party, there were some issues. But again, we had 23 people so..... the price was way too high.

5 /5 Odie1kenodi: We’ve lived close to the Backwoods Steakhouse for years and have heard wonderful reviews, so we made a visit. It surpassed our expectations!! We loved the view from the rear seating and saw Goats, Emu’s, and Highlands enjoying their day against a beautiful farm backdrop. The service and food were TOP NOTCH! I’m not even exaggerating to say it was the best steak I’ve ever eaten. We’ve already made a second visit and it was equally impressive. It’s a new favorite date night locale for us. Highly recommended.

4 /5 Peewee Payton: We drove WAY too far to find this place, but we werent disappointed. People were really nice and the food was good. They didnt take debit/credit cards, but had an ATM ID you did t have cash.

5 /5 Mark Turner: This place is GREAT. The friendliest staff that not only treat customer great & are very welcoming, but they work together so good. The salad bar was excellent, & the steak & baked potato was perfect. Cooked just like I ordered it with no steak sauce needed (although it was offered). Backwoods beats any of the chain steakhouse hands down. DEFINITELY worth veering off the beaten path for.

3 /5 Tammy Harman: Our first trip to Backwoods in a while. I ordered the 2 piece catfish filet. They were so tiny. No hushpuppues on the plate and the baked potato wasnt cooked long enough- Service was slow... and, they werent even busy which was a shocker- back in the day you had to wait to be seated. We drove by better restaurants to eat there. Wont be going back. So sad to see a great place go down like this..
