Luigi Antonio My recent visit to Gnats Landing Statesboro was an absolute pleasure, and I can see why its such a beloved spot. As someone new to the area, it was one of my first stops, and I havent been able to stop going back since! It truly stands out amongst other places Ive tried. The food here is simply delicious. I took Brooklyns suggestion and tried the blackened shrimp with creamy grits, and it was a revelation – perfectly cooked shrimp with just the right amount of spice, complemented by the rich, creamy grits. I also indulged in the hot buffalo wings and the seasoned fries, both of which were incredibly tasty and satisfying. Every single dish Ive ordered has been absolutely delicious, and Ive even discovered new favorites I never thought Id enjoy. Beyond the fantastic food, the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, with a great college vibe. The service was consistently on point; the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I particularly loved the outside seating options, whether you prefer shade or sun. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a meal, especially when the weather is nice on their great patio. Gnats Landing delivers a 10 out of 10 experience every single time, from the friendly people to the outstanding food.

Brittany Allison Great food and even better service! Our party of 5 was seated quickly on a Saturday night. Every server was super nice! I got the shrimp Latin bowl and it was so good. We love Cuban food and this is a new favorite when we’re in town visiting family. The ingredients tased so fresh!

Alexis Sommers Finally checked this place out after driving past it so many times and will definitely come back to check out more items on the menu! Loved these goat cheese fritters, the side Caesar was really good as well, tasted extremely fresh. Tried out the cheesesteak which was not bad had lots of flavor, the kid salmon which our kiddo enjoyed, and the Cajun penne pasta tbh the chicken was the only thing carrying the dish, felt like the dish could of done without the tomatoes and the bell peppers just looked roughly chopped and thrown on, could of been executed better. Orders the crème brûlée to go and it was delicious.

Laura Hoyle I’ve been here twice now! Both times I enjoyed my coffee immensely. They’ve got loads of interesting coffee choices beyond the standard holiday choices. I also appreciate that they don’t charge extra for dairy free or gluten free options like oat milk or bread. I’ve gotten the guava latte and the ube sugar plum iced latte myself, and tried the Jaffa latte and s’mores latte my friend got. All of them have been very good! The syrups are homemade, so I ask for extra sweet to make sure I get the actual flavor of the syrup beyond just a sugar flavor which seems to help. Coffees here are going to run about $7 and the sandwiches are between $6 and $8. Pretty standard prices for coffee today. The inside of the coffee shop is smaller, but lots of unique decor and plants are around. It’s very cute but busy without a lot of seating, probably due to space restrictions. I would come back again!

Carmen Contreras We eloped on 11/11/25 and wanted to have a small dinner with some family before returning to FL, it was veterans day and they were very busy but accommodated us and were absolutely amazing. Krystal and Amy were the sweetest and made our dinner so much nicer, AMAZING experience.

Christina Nicole We travel roughly 30-40 mins just to get pizza from here. It is so good. By the looks of the place from outside you wouldnt guess that inside is full of yummy food and nifty goodies for the whole family. Super friendly staff also makes it nice to come back time after time. Well worth the drive for their meat lovers pizza. It never disappoints and while we are picking up pizza we always shop around and pick up random things to drink and eat that we cant find in our town.
