Burra Burra on the River - (Near McCaysville, GA)

Luis Figureoa My friend took us here before our fishing trip. He assured us that this place had great food. Well, The food and service here was amazing. High quality oysters makes the difference. Our party had no complaints. And there were definitely no leftovers. If you want some great shrimp and seafood, go check them out.

Jerry Amos Staff can often make or break a dining experience, and on this day our server made an exceptional effort to create the best experience. Food was hot and quickly delivered and our waitress (sorry didn’t get her name) made every extra effort to be accommodating.

Eduard Tsipan Lord have mercy. What a fantastic meal. Turkey wings, creamed corn, green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn bread, huge sweet tea, and peach cobbler for $14.50??? Great deal. The taste feels so authentic to the south. Plus, the people were super nice.

Kirk Mcgee Found this place through a friend, what a hidden gem! Great dining area, quiet, friendly staff, and service was great. Our server was quick to take our orders, keep our drinks refilled and even offered to go drinks. The food was fantastic too. I got the beer battered mozzarella and they were easily a 9.5 of 10 for me, loved them. I got the chicken tenders and fries. The fries lack seasoning but were still good. The chicken tenders were some of the best Ive ever had. My friend got a hotdog and that dog was like a foot long. He also got crab cakes that he enjoyed. I got a chocolate lava cake to-go to bring home to my wife and it came with ice cream, she loved it of course. My only knocks on this place was the nasty bathroom and the place is definitely a bit expensive but that isnt close to enough to keep me away from coming back to this amazing little restaurant again.

Amanda Evans The atmosphere was nice and relaxed it was lunch time. I sat at the bar. Was a great time my bartender was awesome. Highly recommend when you are out shopping in Dawsonville. Good was really good, service was fast and friendly. I had the Allisons chicken lunch portion, a nice house Salad.

Erica Santana We went there for breakfast. It wasnt crowded and we were seated immediately. We had our two dachshunds and were able to sit on the back patio that was heated. We liked the vibe and our server was good. The food was a mixed bag. My son got the Alpine french toast. It looked like regular bread and about three pieces were burnt, but it was good. He got a bratwurst on the side. I had got one too. How can I describe it? It was vinegary. It had a weird aftertaste. Ive had bratwurst before and I dont remember it tasting like that. I got a fried cheese plate which was good. I got mozzarella. It was great, but I ate it with other food because it was a little intense on its own. Eggs and potatoes were good and perfectly seasoned! My husband had the egg, bacon, and cheese biscuit. It was good, but was falling apart. Overall, it was good and we would try it again.
