3 /5 Teresa Outley: Long but worth the read Pros & Cons! Was looking for real, authentic Mexican food. Based on reviews came here. The atmosphere was nice, the booths are a little tight, very clean establishment. Our waitress was pleasant (can’t remember her name). The food, not so good. It tastes like regular chain restaurant Mexican food. I had the Beef barria tacos, the meat was roast. It lacked flavor & spice and was very dry. I was expecting more & was very disappointed. The black beans were very tasty tho. The cilantro was dried out & not fresh, but once you add it to the barria sauce & squeeze in the lime, it helps give it flavor. My spouse had the chicken fajita salad. We were able to count 3 pieces of chicken in the entire salad. She basically got a bowl of lettuce, peppers & onions. We hate sending food back out of fear, so she kept it & dealt with it! It was a soggy mess at the end. Extra peppers & onions is $2.50 & extra pico de gallo is $4.50. Would I come back, I doubt it. Food was mediocre at best!
