Churchs Texas Chicken - (Near Fort Valley, GA)

4 /5 B: First time visit. Its been probably 20 years since Ive been to a Churchs and back then it wasnt called Texas chicken. Going through the drive thru, the order taker and I had a hard time hearing each other so she said pull up to the window. I did that but then they didnt have a menu board to order from. I ended up getting chicken strips, fries and a biscuit with no drink but it was more expensive than if I were to have ordered the combo meal with a drink. They also give a military discount (thank you) but I didnt know until after the order was placed unfortunately. The order taker at the window was very friendly. The chicken strips here are a bit different than other places so it was a nice change. The biscuits were very good too. It seemed to me that the only white meat chicken here are the strips.

2 /5 Stephannie Stanton: Fort Valley Church’s…epic failure. The young lady that took my order at the window and prepared the order was very nice. She’s the reason your getting the rating you’re getting. The chicken is straight trash. It’s room temp with the exception of a thigh. It’s pale looking like it didn’t cook long enough but it’s done. When it tell you they didn’t put no type of seasoning on it . It used to have a good taste. This had absolutely nothing. The 2 large sides were just enough for 2 toddlers. Everything just bland. My first and last visit here. Don’t nobody want no bland, cold food that’s supposed to be hot. Do better!

5 /5 Yellowjacket Watkins: The service was magnificently and the food the chicken was delicious I have never been to a Churchs Chicken and I was giving so much courtesy. Thank you dearly. Still the same the chicken was absolutely delicious.

1 /5 KING THOMAS: First of all, I paid for corn and they didnt out it in my bag, mashed potatoes tasted awful and when I tried to go on their feedback page they dont have a restaurant locator number on the recipe to leave feedback for that restaurant, I went to the one in Fort valley, GA. I attempted to call the phone number and it goes directly to a voice-mail that has no space to leave a message and the chicken tasted way to greasy. Highly disappointed and I cant even call the restaurant to complain because the answering service has no space smh.
