5 /5 Amped Kids: The Cottage House did an excellent job catering our fundraising event! The staff was timely, professional and helpful. The meal was outstanding and our guests loved it. Thank you for your support of nonprofit organizations in the community. Highly recommend if you are looking for catering for your next event or a sit down meat and veggies at the restaurant is great as well!

4 /5 LISA GANES: Went by positive Google reviews and ate here on a Sunday at 1:45. It was a bit out of the way with us traveling home from Blairsville to ATL, but glad we did! We both had the Cottage Special, 1 meat, 2 veggies, cornbread (delicious) and dessert. Very reasonable price! We had fried chicken, chicken tenders, black eyed peas, collards, mashed potatoes, fried okra, peach cobbler, strawberry pudding - which we haven’t eaten yet, too full! All very good! Only negative was them being slow to clean tables, they were swamped! Would love to eat here again if we’re ever nearby!

5 /5 Larry Ballard: This is a “meat and three” nestled between the mountain towns of Cleveland and Clarkesville. I got the meatloaf , rice and gravy and macaroni and cheese. Thank God for some country cornbread , not that sugary stuff so many places have . Everything tasted just like my momma could have made it . What else needs to be said ? My wife had the fried chicken , green beans and black-eyed peas . She cleaned her plate . I knew it would be good when I walked in and it was full of working men and old folks . When the old folks are there you know it’s good . If you like country cookin’ it’s worth a look. Sorry , ate half my food before I remembered to take a picture

2 /5 John Fox: More impressive looking on the outside than the inside. A lot of the food is pre cooked, cafeteria style. They try and push you into the pre cooked food as opposed to ordering fresh off the menu. If you’re in the area, its about the only place to sit down. If you’re just passing by, keep driving and head over to the next town, be it Clarkesville or Cleveland, youre going to find better dining options.

The food was delicious—true Southern comfort—and the staff made us feel right at home. As a local realtor, I love finding gems like this to recommend to clients. A cozy, welcoming spot I’ll definitely be back to!
