Cracker Barrel Old Country Store - (Near Cartersville, GA)

Sam Beasley Recommended by friends and did not disappoint. I had the fried grouper with fried Okra. It was so soft and flakey on the inside with crispy fried batter on the outside. The batter had an essentially good flavor (with just a hint of old bay seasoning I think). The Okra was fried to perfection, still tender on the inside. My dining partner got the Rueben Sandwich with battered fries and said it was really good. I noticed how thick it was and that the bread was pan toasted. Prompt friendly service, not too long of a wait. Friends said that it gets busy so we went at 1130 am and was immediately seated. It is a quiet sports bar feel, with a large and impressive menu offering a wide range of items. The price seemed about right for what we had. I look forward to coming back to try other things on the menu. Happy Diner.

John Wall We recently ate here for my grandmothers 90th birthday. We had almost 20 people in the party. They had no problem accommodating the group. The staff was friendly and the food was good. They even allowed someone to bring a cake for the party. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the Americus area.

My order was accurate and neat and was delivered way before they said it would be here which was super appreciative with 3 kids! I highly recommend this place!

B Nice little Mexican dive off the main drag. We stopped while traveling through town and really enjoyed it. Lots to choose from and the prices were really cheap.

Bruce Bruce Went here after church wanting some Italian. This was our second choice after another restaurant wanted to make us wait over an hour. We walked into this quaint restaurant. It’s a laid back type of restaurant, with tables and bar tables to dine in. Seems like most of their business is takeout. They had an assortment of all the typical Italian dishes, pizzas, and desserts. Food was pretty good, I even liked the meatballs and being Italian I tend to not like meatballs from restaurants. I had the chicken parm, it came Al forno with the cheese melted on the top, which I like also. Wife had the meatballs and spaghetti and she enjoyed hers also. We also got a pepperoni pizza to try, they have the small cup pepperoni which we prefer too. Was quickly served in the aluminum dish/pan they cooked it in. Nothing fancy just decent Italian food served quick.

Trey Neely All Mellow Mushrooms are cool in my opinion, but this one specifically is my favorite. The atmosphere is great and the staff are incredible. This past Saturday I was there picking up food for my family and sat the bar while waiting. The bartender was a guy named Luke and he was amazing. I watched him handle 20+ pick up orders, while bartending, like it was no big deal - and it was a lot to manage. He has a great personality and his customer service was very impressive. Hes a natural. I always try to shout out people that do an above and beyond job, because good customer service is becoming harder and harder to find these days. As always, the food was great and I walked away a happy customer. This Mellow Mushroom is perfect for families and the location is key - very walkable around a ton of stores, so easy to stop in after shopping. Go see Luke at the bar on the weekend!
