CRAWDADDYS - (Near Ludowici, GA)

Steven Chandler This place is from another time in the old south when you didn’t have commercialized fast food. You come in to the screend-in dining area, order your food from a little window, sit and chat or listen to the conversation of the other folks in there. It might be 30 minutes or so, get your drink ahead of time and sit and relax. This place is cool. The burger was great, so were the fries, even the Coke tasted better. We chatted and watch the people come in. Some of the people called in and were picking up, others waited, some ate there some got it to go. If you drive by and thought about it, stop thinking and just do it. They make your food to order, no heat lamps, and they are busy, so be prepared to sit a while and take it all in. These type of places are few and far between and should be a cherished. Again, this is not fast food. This is the good old south the way it used to be and I am so happy we found it again. The fellow next to me recommended the chili burger, so I’m doing that next! We spent around 20 bucks for two Chief Burger plates and two large drinks. You can’t beat that.

Tom Bagby Truly best hamburger I have found in so long. Perfect old school diner burger cooked to order and actually formed form ground beef not some frozen Sysco patty. Add fries fries when you order and the genuine care about making good food. Dont sleep on this amazing spot

Kevin Layman I recommend trying the Celtic Tavern Irish Pub... Whenever youre near Conyers Georgia. The fish and chips were delicious. The dish came with one a 4 ounce cod fish filet with huge mounds of fries two hush puppies and coleslaw. I foregone the fries and hush puppies and ordered a side of grilled fresh vegetables ( carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower). The fish was golden brown breaded, flaky white meat, and perfectly cooked. I added malt vinegar because that is the way you experience fish and chips. The grilled vegetables had a slight grilled touch with proper seasoning - not too much so that the crisp of the vegetable bite and flavor came through. My daughter had the fish and chips also so I stole one French fry and the coleslaw. The fry was golden brown and crisp, seasoned perfectly, but a little very little dry. Probably dipped in ketchup it was perfect. The coleslaw was plain white cabbage with little dressing and little seasoning. For me I added a few drops of malt vinegar to jack it up a notch. The music was playing a little loud for casual conversations and I could have asked to turn it down. The decor is very Celtic Tavern pub. The bathroom was clean and supplied well and only accommodates one person at a time. The service was perfect. Way to go staff.

Tyson Ordered lunch with a large group - I got the skinny chicken pesto sandwich with no tomato. All orders were ready at the pickup time. No issues with my order, prepared as requested. The sandwich was great, still warm when it arrived. Included a pickle and a bag of chips.

Bo Spikes Great buffet to eat at, always good food and great friend people whenever I visit. Hardly no wait time! You can get that down home feeling when you visit this location.

Will Wright Food amd service are great. The atmosphere is dated but in good working order.
