Paul Barnes Finally made it to The Plant Cafe for lunch and it exceeded every expectation. The burger was fantastic, but those homemade pickles are a total game-changer! What really sets this place apart, though, is the atmosphere. The owner is incredibly welcoming and took the time to share some fascinating local history and stories about Waycross with us. It’s rare to find a spot that offers both an original, high-quality menu and such a deep connection to the community. A must-visit in downtown Waycross!

Win Strickland We’ll add to the encouraging reviews after today’s first visit. Very pleasant greeting and choices on where to sit. Excellent service, answer questions for us first timers. Food was terrific! Chips and queso very tasty and the chips were nice and warm, just the way we love them but rarely get in other spots. Tacos nicely filled and the accompaniments were plentiful too. The jalapeño cream was outstanding and quite bright/spicy, also the way I like it. Prompt service, checked on multiple times. Definitely worth a visit!

Keisha McD Let me start off by saying if you dont try them at least once you have missed out on some of the best Mexican food in Georgia. Small hole in the wall type place, but the food is absolutely phenomenal! You can taste the love and passion they cook with! No joke, we eat here at least twice a week! I havent had 1 bad experience, not 1 mediocre meal. The tortas are my favorite. But literally everything is amazing! The staff are so friendly and you can tell they want you to enjoy your food.

Kalie Humphries My sister-in-law had her gender reveal party here and the food was great, the ladies in the kitchen were so so sweet. It’s hard to find good food cheap, but this spot is definitely worth a stop!!!

Carolina Green Went for a friends birthday, on a girls trip and had the best time ever. Was fairly busy for a Monday evening but the service was great and the food and drinks were even better. Had the table side guacamole 100/10, we also got the tacos and vegan and vegetarian quesadillas all tasted amazing. Drinks were good and strong and the mama coco drink is worth every sip, my friend got the churros as a birthday surprise treat which also happen to be her favorite and they tasted so good. All the staff were amazing and very attentive, the owner even came and sat with us for a moment. Will definitely be back when we return.
