4 /5 Meg Thibodeau: Plantains were really undercooked and was surprised based off the pictures of the yummy plantains. Big disappointment. We actually got more portions at Nani’s when we visited from Tampa in November. We came back for Christmas and decided to try Dans, but we will be sticking to Nani’s as I didn’t get undercooked plantains and we have kids so we are all about the portions! Great flavor though.
5 /5 Tiff: Delicious! As a Cuban descent and South Florida native, I can say that this is real Cuban food. The steak in the pan con bistec was top-notch, so soft. The mojo was absolute perfection. Highly recommend!
5 /5 Paul W. McGuire: We love Dan’s Grill. Every dish we’ve tried has been excellent. Two of our favorites are the chicken kabobs & shrimp kabobs with black beans & rice with plantains.
5 /5 Kevin VanHouten: Dan’s is such a great place to enjoy some authentic Cuban cuisine. We always order the Vaca Frita with white rice & beans and extra mojo sauce, as well as the Dan’s Roasted Pork with Congris and plantains. Always top-notch food and service. We highly recommend.
Mark Gross Had the Chicken & Andouille Gumbo. delicious! If youre looking for a new restaurant to try or just somewhere to eat I highly recommend it !!!
G. Sue Kasun We were driving through on our way back to Atlanta. This beats all taco places in Atlanta and in much of the U.S. the tacos al pastor are prepared on a rotating spit in house and taste just like they’re off the streets of Mexico City, where I used to live. Please just order them and thank me later. It’s highly unusual to find the tacos al pastor prepared this way in the U.S. Tortillas taste handmade and make a difference that way!
The rest of the food is solid. The horchata drink is homemade and also not to be missed. Finally, the staff were kind and quick with the food; they were also quite patient and kind to my two kids. Come on, try it!!!
Larry Thomas This Hidden Gem is well worth your time and funds!! The food is amazing like Grandma’s used to be!!!!!
Thank you for y’all’s hospitality and quality of service and the delicious food
Bill Cleghorn Great food, huge portions! Very friendly folks here...Kitchen kept fresh meats and vegetables coming out so everything was fresh and hot... And it made my day for the lady fixing plates to say, Bring more peas and make sure there is juice on em...Peas should have the soup on em for the cornbread... Excellent meal, lots of food, low price...Definitely will eat at Flossies again....
John Wolfram Absolutely superb chicken salad sandwich. I had one of their hot macadamia nut cookies just out of the oven. That cookie alone was with stopping in. This is a quaint little eatery and well worth the money spent for a great lunch.
