Diesel Donuts and Coffee - (Near Jefferson, GA)

Chris Vallee This place is my guilty pleasure! I used to go to the Varsity downtown when I was a kid after Braves games and remembered the long lines and yelling and just couldn’t wait to get some greasy food and go try to find a place to sit. Well now all of that is way up here in Dawsonville without the wait and plenty of seating! I basically was able to walk up within seconds of arriving and order the same things I always did and it still tastes the same as it did back in the 70’s and 80’s!! My favorite is the Chili Burger and Chili Dog Combo with the Onion Rings. They are so greasy but so tasty! They have this cayenne pepper shakers at the tables you can sprinkle anything you want to add some heat to. They have plenty of outside seating as well to enjoy on a nice day. Every time I’m up this way I can’t help but stop by!!

The atmosphere feels like home — cozy booths, cheerful staff, and that classic diner vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Come dine in here they are the best. :)

Christine Wood Loving this new little gem that has opened up in the old Smoots building. The pizza is absolutely delish along with the burritos and samosas. The owner is super friendly and will make your pizza any way you request. Highly recommend!

Famof4 Muskelly (Dynasty) If you are from the North currently living in the south and you have yet to find a place that reminds you of the New Jersey or New York Hoagie. Listen here yall!!!!!! The prices are super affordable and they are far from cheap with the meat. Baldinos is hands down the best place to grab a sub in Hinesville GA. They also have great customer service.

Molina Tina (5-19-2025) My family was visiting from Texas for my sons military ceremony. We decided to stop here as our last meal together before heading back home. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly/attentive, and the establishment was nice & clean. We will definitely be back in August!!
