Chris Vallee This place is my guilty pleasure! I used to go to the Varsity downtown when I was a kid after Braves games and remembered the long lines and yelling and just couldn’t wait to get some greasy food and go try to find a place to sit. Well now all of that is way up here in Dawsonville without the wait and plenty of seating! I basically was able to walk up within seconds of arriving and order the same things I always did and it still tastes the same as it did back in the 70’s and 80’s!! My favorite is the Chili Burger and Chili Dog Combo with the Onion Rings. They are so greasy but so tasty! They have this cayenne pepper shakers at the tables you can sprinkle anything you want to add some heat to. They have plenty of outside seating as well to enjoy on a nice day. Every time I’m up this way I can’t help but stop by!!

Rebecca Crowe We just went there after my son played a football game. The door was locked but it was 7:30 and there were signs it didn’t close until 10. There was a lady inside who was mopping and looked up but didn’t acknowledge us at all. We were at the door tying to get her attention. When we finally knocked on the window, she looked up but still didn’t greet us. We asked through the window if they were open and she motioned with her finger to come around to another door and then went back to ignoring us. She was extremely rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful. She acted like we were a bother to her and we are the customers!! I hope her managers see this and she is written up! The customer service is AWFUL!! Pls hire people that have social skills!

Mishka Nice and cozy place to have a meal and watch football (or a program of your liking) the food is amazing! Tons of flavor and options. The staff is amazing and helpful. If you like burgers try the farmers burger, if you like pizza try the 7 Pie, if you like appetizers try the spinach dip and if you like chicken tenters they have the best I’ve ever had(fresh not frozen)

Stephanie Bar-Haim Pot Luck Café in Monroe is an absolute gem! It’s a true family-owned restaurant, and you can feel that the moment you walk in — the owners are right there, running things with care and heart. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the whole place is spotless, charming, and so welcoming. The food was **amazing** — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every detail, from the warm atmosphere to the excellent service, made our visit special. It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine. Highly recommend Pot Luck Café — we’ll definitely be back!

Teresa Zuniga We were in Sandersville. We went through the drive thru. Service was quick and they were polite. We got fries, onion rings and a chicken sandwich. They all tasted very good.
