Mark Mayer As a frequent traveler, foodie, “bar stooler” and former biz owner I appreciate a great employee when I see one. I seldom leave a review and seldom a 5 star.
I must mention Tim He’s 5 star.
- an excellent bartender is a rare employee. He can handle a bar of 20 plus people, plus make drinks for a busy dining room of another 20 patrons and keep the waiters and waitresses positive when they are slammed.
but never fails to say hello or recognize a regular customer at the bar. Even suggests a new brew that came in. Even introduces new patrons to regulars so that everyone gets to know one another.
As a former bartender I appreciate an employee who “ owns” his position and enjoys
his job. It’s more than tips. Its ownership of the position and instinctively knows the rewards. I should note he acknowledges every customer, and remembers their regular drink order or has a friendly recommendation and serves samples regularly.
It’s a pleasure to meet people like Tim!
