1 /5 Ryan Wolf: Against our better judgement, my wife and I stopped here yesterday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. We had been running errands all day and were starved. We looked at reviews first and they werent bad, so we went in. It was the WORST dining experience of our lives, truly. First off, if youre a Mexican restaurant and cant make FRESH salsa, something is wrong. You can make an awesome salsa from just four ingredients (I do). Theirs was just canned tomato sauce with some seasoning. The chips tasted like they were made a few days before. You can see in the photo how burnt the flautas are. They were supposed to be "Grilled Chicken Flautas," but were filled with some kind of paste-like substance. Two bites and couldnt stand another. To serve someone something that looked like this was shocking. No passion about the food, or from the two guys serving it. I have no Earthly idea HOW this place gets the positive reviews it does. If you put this plate in front of your dog, theyd sniff it and run away. The only positive mark was the Tecate/mug were ice cold.
