5 /5 Preston: HOW HAVE A MISSES THIS PLACE?!?! Ive lived here for 7-8 years and I have never been here ever! Its small, quiet and VERY home feeling. Im definitely going to come here way more often. Tacos were awesome and decently priced, wish they filled it more but i felt full regardless. Ive been to a lot of the Mexican restaurants in Calhoun, and this is by far my serious favorite already. Everything is little cheaper than anywhere else Ive been in Calhoun. Last but not least, very kind and attentive staff!!

4 /5 Joshua Walker: First time visiting El Rayos for lunch. Service was excellent. Some of the best chips, salsa and queso that I’ve had in Calhoun. Servers smiled each time we spoke, after ordering the food came out within 3mins very, very quick. Good little atmosphere: wood floors, stone and tin walls( kind of a cabin feel.) Three different seating areas: front, back and outside, very clean environment as well. Music played in the background not too loudly. Over all a great spot and definitely recommend.

5 /5 Fernanda Zavala: **AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD** in every sense of the word!! I come from Mexico and this was one of the closest to Mexican foods I’ve tried so far. The enchiladas that I had were very good and the “Mexican tacos” (2nd picture) were really tasty. The corn tortillas in other places have this sweet flavor that I personally dislike, but the ones they use here are very close to the tortillas from Mexico. Lastly, the salsas have good flavor and are the “good” kind of spicy…and for everyone who enjoys a little more spice, the Jalapeño and the Diablo salsa have a good kick to them. Must try place for sure!!
