Emanuels Mexican Restaurant - (Near Swainsboro, GA)

Laurie luckie Huck’s, we are so glad you’re open and welcoming Carrollton into your beautiful establishment! Even though you’ve only been open four days, you’re already putting out great food with a fun twist on American cuisine. We started with the pretzel appetizer and beer cheese—the pretzel was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, absolutely delicious! The brisket tacos were a solid 10/10, and the tomato soup might just be the best we’ve ever had. Be sure to stop by and try them out. Just keep in mind that with a brand-new staff, the kitchen is still getting into its rhythm, so service may take a little longer. If you’re in a hurry, you might want to wait a bit before going—but if you’re ready to relax and enjoy the new space, order an extra drink or two from their beautiful bar while you take it all in!

Shelby Cranford Wow! We were driving through looking for a healthier option and this spot blew us away! Very customizable and everything I had was great! I went with buffalo chicken salad, and the sweet potato salad! It was so good! Definitely will be back on our next trip through!

Jenniffer Whyte Excellent place—highly recommended! I was extremely impressed from the moment I walked in, especially when I needed to use the restroom. It honestly felt more like a dance floor than a gas station bathroom! The space was very large, spotless, and incredibly modern. The toilet had a self-cleaning seat feature, making it comfortable and hygienic. There was even a rug in front of the toilet and a separate women’s restroom area within the bathroom, which was a thoughtful touch. The lighting was great, and the stall doors extended all the way to the floor, providing full privacy—no visible feet. The sink setup was amazing as well: each station had its own soap, water, and hand dryer all in one place. I’ve never seen anything like it in a convenience store. Beyond the bathrooms, the store itself was impressive. They offered Turkish delight, gourmet chocolates, individual ice creams, a sugar and creamer station, and three restaurants on-site—Moe’s, Papa John’s, and Huddle House. We initially stopped just to use the restroom and ended up leaving with items I couldn’t find anywhere else. Whoever owns this place has done an ingenious job. I truly wish all gas stations were designed like this!

Ian Little I would highly recommend trying the street parking on the road across Lumpkin, the parking situation here is NOT good. I actually came into the restaurant quite grumpy and ready to give a non 5 star review because of the trouble Id had parking but the quick service, great food, and good price points swayed me back. I think the prices are VERY reasonable for upscale food and the quality and SPEED from the kitchen is VERY impressive. I want to really shout out the desserts menu. EVERYTHING on it was absolutely delicious and maybe the best dessert spread Ive had its Athens, both from the prices, quality and diversity.
