Fire It Up BBQ - (Near Cartersville, GA)

Kathleen Jacobs Southern styles home style food with very good portions. My husband had the fried catfish and rutabaga and I had the French dip sandwich and mac and cheese. Katie was our great waitress. The food came out quickly. I had the Perry Peach Tea, which is a long island ice tea with a southern twist, and it was very good.

Deborah Car trouble on a road trip found my husband and I stopped in Perry for emergency service. A quick Google search for a well reviewed lunch spot found us The Oil Lamp Restaurant. Oh my goodness! That was 3 days ago and were still talking about how wonderfully delighted we were to have a delicious hot lunch with the best service one can only imagine!!! Our trays were taken for us without asking to our table!! I believe because my cane indicated the need for assistance. How refreshing that the staff even took time to notice! The food was beyond exceptional. My granny couldnt have made it any better! Fresh vegetables cooked to perfection; no over cooked butter beans or squash here!! Gravy covered mashed potatoes that were out of this world along with meatloaf and beef roast, green beans... all were absolutely delicious!!! Corn muffins were so good, we wanted to take home a dozen! I can not wait for our next road trip because we are timing it for a stop at The Oil Lamp Restaurant again, you can bet on it!!! Definitely recommended!! 5 stars across the board!

Ann King What a GEM!!! sweet service (I think her name was Rachel) and the FOOD!!! i had Cobb salad, hubby a burger, and we shared fried mushrooms. Every bite was deliciou.

Ben Adcock You want a Mexican food experience? TryPuebla Mexican Restaurant in Sandersville. They are hard to beat starting with natchos and salsa. Try their Dirty Texas rice or Drunken shrimp for a delicious meal.

Bloom Long time since we have been here to see Eric & Lenny!! So glad to be back and have their delicious spring rolls& Fuji Chicken,vyummy soup, fresh salad& the kids loved their hot fries. So glad you were open with Hot Fresh dishes!!

Desiree Cochran-Norfolk When i say the food was amazing!!!! OMG! I got the chicken Philly and it was definitely on point. My son had the crab and shrimp boil and his review consisted of chewing, pointing to the plate and nodding his head. My guess was he thoroughly enjoyed his meal lol. My aunt had the hot wings and devoured those as well. The cake was delicious. The Philly and wings both came with fries and the seafood boil came with a really delicious potato and corn on the cob. They have a really chic seating area and I really enjoyed just relaxing over there and eating a meal with my family. Highly recommend if you want seafood, this is the spot. Its small and kind of out the way, but the best southern food usually is. Seating is outside but they have fans they are more than willing to turn on for you. The staff was really nice and just pleasant to be around. You can tell they love what they do and it shows in the service and the food. I spent a little more than anticipated but I didnt mind because the food was WORTH it! 10/10 will go back.
