Paul W. Peel The Old House is truly a Statham staple. I visited years ago for lunch, but today was my first time trying their breakfast—and it didn’t disappoint! They serve all the classic Southern staples. I ordered two eggs with cheese, grits, toast, and bacon. The eggs were prepared omelet-style and were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The service was five-star—friendly and attentive—and the atmosphere is exactly what you’d expect from a small-town family restaurant: warm, welcoming, and charming. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and want a true Southern breakfast experience.

Corie Grussing Stopped in while in town for a wrestling match, and this place was such a good find! My son’s wings, my husband’s Philly steak with battered fries, and my fish basket were all hot, fresh, and delicious. We finished with cheesecake, which was also really good. Great service and quick wait. Perfect choice!

D Kelly First times to this wonderful Greek cafe and were so glad we came. We had the chicken shawarma, mezza plate, gyro and the peanut soup. Delish! We will be back!
