Floyds Pub - (Near Americus, GA)

4 /5 Steven Paris: Floyds is located in the Windsor Hotel and offers a really nice atmosphere with outdoor seating overlooking the town of Americus. The drinks were excellent, the food very good and the service was OK. They were hosting a couple very large private events and I think that interfered with us getting great service. Otherwise, they would have gotten five stars and I would not hesitate to recommend this place. In fact, I look forward to coming back and hopefully they will do better next time.

4 /5 Jennifer: Had a drink and a piece of pecan pie here on a sultry,July evening in 2025. Pretty much had the outside to ourselves. Likely due to the heat and that it was a Weds evening. Service was a little slow but since we were there to just sit and enjoy, it didn’t keep us from anything. The pie was expensive- a small piece and it wasn’t any more delicious than what I could get other places. Did love sitting outside up on the balcony. The servers were friendly enough.

3 /5 Shanise: I visit the Windsor quite frequently and always eat at Floyds. My last 3 recent visits have been horrible. This week visit my bread on my fish could be used as a rock to knock someone out. They put your peach cobbler ice cream in a condiment Togo container. They literally had one tablespoon of ice cream. 3 weeks ago food was horrible as well. Fries were cold and old looking. They need to do a health inspection to make sure they are not trying to save money and hold on to outdated food. I might need make that call.

1 /5 Jay Byrd: The absolute WORST service I have ever experienced. I used to work in the service industry at some main line high end restaurants, I dont take pleasure in this review but enough is enough and last night was too much. As a server, youre chasing tips and trying to go above and beyond to take care of your people and make them happy. Some people just dont need to be servers and thats okay, its not for everyone. Our server CULLEN was one of these people, a buffoon, he didnt check our drinks once. We were there for my wifes birthday figured we would go somewhere nice for the evening. We were a 4 top table, we all ordered hamburgers and an appetizer of pickle chips. We waited an hour for 3 of the 4 hamburgers and the sever brought the pickle chips out at the same time as the 3 burgers. The pickle chips were ice and the burgers were lukewarm they had been sitting for a bit, probably done at minimum 20 min earlier. Our 4th guest didnt get their hamburger until we had all finished and CULLEN the "server" brought out a to-go box for it and said he gave us a 20% discount. Laughable, you messed up that bad and you didnt at least comp the one burger? Even if the kitchen was having problems, I sincerely doubt it was all on them given CULLEN the "server" didnt check on us once and the fact the appetizer was forgotten about, I guarantee he forgot the 4th burger because he didnt write anything down. They were not busy, 3 other small tables on the balcony that night with another server out there assisting. For a "quality" restaurant at a very beautiful hotel this kind of behaviors just unacceptable. We would have possibly got a birthday desert but decided against that as we didnt want to wait several hours for a piece of cake. What a joke. Dont spend your money here. **Additionally** recently found out that CULLEN didnt put in the 4th burger for a fact then gave us a 20% discount for his total screw up. No ding dong, you comp that one burger you forgot about and dont charge people.

3 /5 Elizabeth Ekkel: My guest and I sat at the bar to order a drink and an appetizer. It was not busy at all. After ordering, we were told by one of the waitresses/bartenders that our appetizer has to be put in as a to go order. She apologized and we asked our bartender what the reason was and she wouldn’t say. I will not be spending anymore money or time there until a certain employee no longer works there. Very childish and rude and unprofessional.
